2007 Washington Twp Memorial Day Tournament Champions
Wow!
What can we say...we are greatful and blessed to have such good and determined players. Great job on another tournament win....way to stay focused...great comeback beating a very good Clearview Muddog team to win the championship.....That was a great challenge to have to beat a good S Vineland team then to have to step up and take on a fresh and rested Clearview team....It was a great team effort all weekend long right to the end...everyone contributed somehow towards all of our victories...way to "STACK IT UP!....."Coach Mario and all the Coaches"
Recently the D Ray organization has reached somewhat of a milestone in playing it's 300th game. It is with great pride that I share this with you. Our record is 245-52-3. This group of players for the past 2 years have contributed with an oustanding record of 75-11-1. That means that they would win (86%) 9 times out of 10 each and everytime they go to any field in any state. This group not only makes me proud by their results but by their attitudes to work together as a team. Everyone of them should be commended for their results and efforts. It has been a conituation of the "D Ray Way".
In closing, thank you for being part of this organization and best of luck this weekend and in the future.

As this weekend begins, I would like to mention what an honor it has been coaching your players over the last season or two. This is our last scheduled tournament and I wanted to point out how much I respect each and every player and family. Up to now we are 30-4-1 with 4 championships, a 2nd, 3rd and 5th in our tournaments. I am extremely proud of all our coaches and players efforts and willingness to help the team attitude. They are really an unselfish group of players. Truly our team has come first before anything else and our results show it. We have been blessed!!!
I think that this weekend should be approached no different than other tournaments. That is to respect your opponents, the umpires, your teammates, your coaches and parents as well as the game itself. Our conituation of playing focused, relaxed but determined combined with the attitude to out hustle our opponents from the first inning until the last inning of the tournament will bring the same rewards it has all season. Being the best you can be.
