Tip Off Day Details/Schedule
The season will gets it's kickoff with our big opening ceremony on Saturday Dec 5th at 10am Ridgway. The day will be packed with activities, contests, team/individual photos, raffles and 50/50. See attached Flyer for details and times.
We are trying something new this season. For A Division only (7th and 8th Grade boys and Girls), we will have a "Dunk Contest". Contestants will be dunking on the portable 8' baskets! A Division Coaches are nominating their contestants, so talk to your coach for their nomination! If this years contest goes well, we may expand it next year...stay tuned.
Also, we have ordered adult size black EPAA Basketball Tee shirts based on last years interest...$10 each
Raffle: This year we are raffling off 2 Sony 19" Flat Screen TV's. Chances are 1 ticket for $5 and 5 tickets for $20
Coaches: Bring your Equipment Bag and help us with the Contests
Kids: Bring your own Basketball too!
To make the day go smoothly, the EPAA relies heavily on volunteers. If you can spend 1 hour of your time helping us out, it is greatly appreciated. We need help in the following areas:
Concession Stand: 3 people per hour from 10 - 2:30 pm
Contestant Signup: 2 people per hour from 10 - 11 am
Selling EPAA Tee shirts: 1 person per hour from 10 - 2:30 pm
Selling EPAA Raffle Tickets: 1 person per hour from 10 - Noon
Selling 50/50 chances: 1 person per hour from 10 - Noon
Setup: Need 4 people (9:30 - 10 am)
Cleanup: Need 4 people (2:30 - 3pm)

sbruneau@comcast.net The EPAA has a great fundraiser going on. For $10, you guy buy a discount card that offers many discounts and 'buy one/get one' type deals at dozens of local retailers.
The Card can be used as many times as you would like without limit until October of 2010. As you can see on the attached program flyer, the discounts you will receive will not only pay for the cost of the card, but save you appreciable money over the next year.
So buy a card and start saving yourself some money...and it helps the EPAA too!
