New to Fast Plastic? Here's a quick crash course!
FAST PLASTIC is the fastest growing, most popular, COMPETITVE WIFFLE BALL TOURNAMENT in America! There are approximiately 17 Regions, spanning all the way from California to right here in New Jersey.
At a glance, the game is played FAST PITCH style, with a 27 by 23 inch Strike Zone, 48 feet away from the pitcher's mound. (There are guys who can throw the ball upwards of 85 MPH!!) There is no Base Running. Visit the FAST PLASTIC Website for all the particulars on how we play the game.
During the “Regular Season” each region will hold 4 National Championship Qualifier Tournaments (NCQ for short). The Entry Fee for an NJ NCQ is $100
At these NCQs, your team is guaranteed to play at least 3 Round Robin games. If your team has a good enough Round Robin record, you will play in the Single Elimination portion of the Tournament. At the culmination of the Single Elimination, an NCQ Champion will be crowned. (PRIZE MONEY will vary based upon Tournament turnout, NJ NCQ champs in the past have walked away with $600+ at our bigger tournaments.)
Your team’s final standing at an NCQ will award you a varying amount of Tournament Points (FP3). Basically, the better your team does, the more points you will score.
With these points, the top 32 scoring teams in the country qualify for the National Championship Tournament held in Austin, TX in October! In the past, the purse for the National Championship Tournament has been in the neighborhood of $15,000!
Make no mistake, this is the most elite and toughest competition you will ever face! Whether you're enticed by the money or not, Fast Plastic is a guaranteed GREAT time for the Weekend Warrior in all of us!
