GYBA/Austin Select League Fall Tournaments
GYBA is undertaking a new opportunity for the Fall 2009 Season. It involves non-sanctioned tournament teams. We have combined with the Austin Select League to host several 1 day tournaments with the hopes of raising additional funds to help improve our program and keep our registration costs low. Below are the requirements for tournament teams and dates.
*Registration: must register a roster (free) with Austin Select League… DOB’s required
*Non-sanctioned – open to all teams of all ages – brackets will be divided per competitive level, as long as four teams register per division
*Tournament format – ONE Day/Sunday only… two game guarantee, top two seeds play a third Championship Game
*Tournament dates: 09/20; 10/04; 10/18; 10/31; 11/08…. We may host a Fall State Championship with Austin Select League
*Fees - $250 per team….
*GYBA benefits: GYBA will earn per game revenue, 100% of revenue will be re-invested to improve our program

GYBA BOARD MEETINGS
All members and public are welcome to attend. Next meeting: Wednesday, December 9, 2009 @ 6:30 PM. Meetings are held in the Skybox above the concession stand near Field #4 unless otherwise indicated.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
GYBA wants all boys and girls to participate in our youth baseball and softball programs. Scholarships are available to reduce the player registration fees. To be eligible, you must provide proof of participation in the "Free and Reduced" school lunch program. GYBA will consider all financial situations for scholarships.
DONATIONS
Donations to the scholarship program are encouraged and greatly appreciated.
GYBA SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
We could not make it without our many sponsors! Sponsorship is a vital part of Georgetown Youth Baseball. The funds donated by our sponsors will purchase uniforms, equipment, assist with the field/complex maintenence, pay the umpires--and the list goes on...
Large field/fence advertisements are available! Showcase your business to local residents. Multi-year ads also available.
Team Sponsorship: Your business name can appear on team jerseys each season. Support your team and advertise at the same time!

BATTING CAGES/FIELD USAGE
GYBA facilities, including baseball fields & batting cages, are reserved at all times for currently registered GYBA teams only.
Teams warming up for games should be given priority courtesy use.
NO metal cleats are allowed in the cages.
Only ONE team per cage at a time.
