    Location: Glendale High School Weight room-Practice field-Stadium
    Date: Saturday March 6th 2010
    Sign in: 8:00am until 8:30am
    Instructions: 8:30am until 9:00am
    Start workout: 9:00am
    OPEN TO ALL FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS
    The Cardinal 300 workout is a combination of weight training, obstacle course and conditioning.
    You will need to in the weight training room at8:00am to sign in. At 8:30 you will be shown how to do any exercises in the weight room and on the practice field. The workout will start at 9:00 am. You will have 45 seconds to complete each of the 18 stations prior to the stadium.Ten stations will be in the weight room, eight on the practice field and two in the stadium. If you do not finish any station within 45 seconds you will need to move to the next station and 1 minute will be added to your time. This is a timed workout so this is a race. The results will be posted on the website. We will do this work out once a month for the next 7 months. After the first workout the weight or reps may be increased for time to time. In order for you to improve you will need to work out with weights and work on you conditioning between testing.

    Cardinal 300 WORKOUT. We will start in the weight room move to the practice fields and finish in the stadium. Saturday March 6th 2010 8am

    AFTER WORKOUT RECIPES
    Each recipe below contains approximately 390 calories, 22 grams of protein, 55 grams of carbohydrates, and 10 grams of fat.

    Tropical Smoothie

    * 1 cup skim milk
    * 1 cup ice
    * 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (canned in own juice)
    * 1 cup frozen strawberries
    * 1 teaspoon Berry Burst Metamucil
    * 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese

    Orange Cream Smoothie

    * 1 cup vanilla soy milk
    * 1 cup ice
    * 1 packet Orange flavored Metamucil
    * 1 scoop vanilla whey protein
    * 1 medium pealed orange
    * 8 ounces 100% Orange Juice

    Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

    * 1 cup skim milk
    * 1 cup ice
    * 1/2 cup pumpkin pie filling
    * 4 ounces low-fat cottage cheese
    * 1 teaspoons Metamucil (unflavored)
    * 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
    * 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

    Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake

    * 1/2 cup chocolate skim milk
    * 1 cup frozen strawberries
    * 1 teaspoon Metamucil (unflavored)
    * 1 packet Myoplex Lite Chocolate meal replacement

    Blueberry Banana Smoothie

    * 10 ounces vanilla soy milk
    * 1 cup low fat blueberry yogurt
    * 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
    * 1/2 banana
    * 1 teaspoon Metamucil (unflavored)
