Welcome to GTSC's home page. GTSC has over 700 boys and girls from ages 4 to 18 years old, playing in fall and/or spring seasons. Our club plays in the Greater Charleston, WV area and is a member of the KANAWHA VALLEY SOCCER LEAGUE (KVSL). Our goal is to provide the children of our community an opportunity to learn and play the game of soccer in a positive atmosphere, and try to ensure that they have lots of fun while exercising. As an all VOLUNTEER organization, we are always looking for help. If you would like to help, please email us or contact anyone on the GTSC Board of Directors.

LOST CAR KEYS updated 10-2-09
A set of keys were found on the GTSC soccer fields this week. If you lost a set of keys please contact Tera or Dustin Carr at 304-937-3217.
Rescheduled Games updated 10-2-09
Note form Bill Brag... The best time to reschedule a game is Friday evening, any time on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
COACHES PLEASE READ updated 9-15-09
Bill Brag is helping GTSC with the coordinating of the referees for all home games. If you have a home game and you team is U7G, U8G, U8B U9G, U9B, U10G, U10B, and up you will have a ref scheduled for your game. You should contact the opposing team a few days before the game. If their is a scheduling conflict you must contact Bill at (304) 881-6787 or e-mail him at wkb@goodwingoodwin.com to inform him of the problem. Games should only be canceled for weather and the ref will do that on the game day or GTSC will post it the Friday before the game. If you need any help with missed games or rescheduling games anyone on the board can help you with this.

The first day teams are allowed to start practicing will be Monday, August, 24th.
New uniform and equipment updated 9-2-09
To all GTSC Coaches:
All the bags are ready for pickup at the Quantum Soccer Center. The bags are
located upstairs. They are tied to the railing so they are easy to find. Your
team name is on the tag of the bags and should be in age order Colts are at far
end as you work your way back toward the steps the ages goes up.
Inside each new ball bag is 2 new balls, 6 discs, 2 cones, uniforms for your
teams, and a sheet that has exactly what the player needs. Keep in mind not all
players needs things only those that signed up for them at signup are in the
bags. There are some players that did not pay yet and it is marked on the sheet
so please have them get with either me or Kim, our treasurer to get paid. There
was 3 teams that nobody signed up for uniform needs.
In case you get any questions on jersey sizes. The new sizing on from the
manufacturing is actually two sizes bigger but it is the right size for the
kids. For example, a Youth Small is listed on tag as Youth Large, Youth Mediums
as Adult Small and so forth. Hopefully this clears up any confusion on that
issue.
My advice would be to call ahead to Quantum to make sure someone is there so you
can pickup your bags. The number is 562-1020.
If there is any isuues with uniforms please EMAIL what the issue is. Please do
not call home or cell phone, this just leads to confusion, when you EMAIL me I
have exactly what is needed down in writing and can help to resolve the issue.

Parents Instructional Video updated 5-6-08
The KVSL has produced a NEW instructional video to help parents show the basic fundamentals of soccer.
