Hanford Sting is a travel basketball club started in April of 2002. The Sting consist of girls primarily (but not limited to) from Hanford and Visalia. Sting has had players from Bakersfield, Porterville,Laton, Lemoore, and Fresno. Hanford Sting also has several boys teams who operate independently. Hanford Sting has a " Sister" Club called Sting Blue which also operates indepenently from Hanford Sting Basketball.
Our main goal within the program is to develope high level high school players that will have the potential to play at the college level. Sting has girls just beginning to enter high school and many will make the jump straight to varsity and some as varsity starters. Others will be dominant JV players and 3 year varsity players.
