Hoopsmart has completed their district qualifying for the 2009 AAU season and what a season it was. Our 15 year old team coached by Lee Broussard won the YBOA Eastern Regional Qualifier and ended in 7th place in the YBOA State tournament. Congrats to Coach Lee and his team.
The 13 year old team, coached by Bill Sabia qualified for the YBOA Division II National tournament to be held in Florida by finishing in 6th place in the Maryland YBOA State tournament. Congrats to Coach Sabia and his team.
The 10 and Under team, coached by Bill Giblin qualified for AAU Division II Nationals by finishing in 6th place in the Maryland AAU State tournament. They also finished in 2nd place in the YBOA Eastern Regional tournament and finished in 2nd place in the Maryland YBOA State tournament. Both second place finishes qualified the team to compete in the National YBOA tournament to be held in Polk County Florida. Congrats to Coach Giblin and his team.
