The first practice for the 2013 season is on Tuesday, April 16 at 6pm at Kentridge High School.
Pre-season training will begin Tuesday, Dec. 4th, 6:00pm at Lindbergh High School. Pre-season training is FREE AND OPEN TO CLUB AND NON CLUB MEMBERS! Come out and get a head start on your up and coming 2013 school season!
After hearing feedback from many of our parents, we have now made it where you can start payment arraingements NOW (during the off season) to give yourself time and not make it such a financial burden all at once during the season. Please contact one of our staff members for more information.
2012 SEASON WRAP UP
For the 2012 season, Xtreme Speed was smaller in number, but big in progress. This season was the most we had qualify to Nationals in individual events than ever before! As well, over 95% of our athletes set new personal bests during the season!
This year, we sent 10 athletes to Baltimore, Maryland to compete in the 2012 USATF Junior Olympic Nationals. We had 1 relay (consisting of 100% new members in the girls 11 and 12 year old division) and 6 individuals competing at Morgan State University. Two of our athletes came home as "All-Americans". Congratulations Jordan Wallace (13/14 Boys 200M) and Kaid Tipton (17/18 Young Men 110MH)! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!!
Our club continues to gain new athletes and it's exciting to watch their growth. Thank you to all who participated and thank you to all who supported XTREME SPEED TRACK CLUB!
Xtreme Speed Track Club is a youth track club in the East Hill Kent area with athletes participating from the neighboring cities of Auburn, Renton, Puyallup and Federal Way. 2010 was our inagural season and we've been learning and growing every season since.
Our Xtreme Speed coaches pride themselves on being competitive while promoting the many aspects of track and field, discipline, respect, dedication, determination, nutrition, teamwork and good sportsmanship. From ages 18 and under, our athletes are learning physical skills as well as life skills. Our practices are held at Kentridge High School where we provide a safe environment for our athletes, along with a staff of knowledgeable and experienced coaches who always have the best interest of your child in mind.
Our club will be participating in the USATF Junior Olympics circuit, ending with the National Championships North Carolina at the end of July! Beginning April 16th, our practices will begin at 6:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (practice schedule subject to change). Those athletes that are doing school track and field at the moment don't need to attend practices at this time however, they need to register NOW so they can have their uniforms on time for their 1st meet. Uniforms are custom made and take up to 5 weeks.
This will be our 4th year as a track club in the USATF organization and we are looking forward to another fun, competitive and successful season!
