Due to our change in uniform policy last year, we are requiring players to re-use their uniform tops from last season. Returning Junior, Midget, and Lightning players from 2012 spring season that need to replace their black/white reversible uniform jersey will be expected to pay $40 since another uniform needs to be ordered. Kelly Post will be providing new shorts for the 2013 season.

Any Tyker in-house player from 2012 spring season moving up to Lightning and any new player to Kelly Post MYLA teams will be provided
a uniform this year at no extra cost.

Spring Lacrosse Program Description

Clinic - Teams meet once a week on Sundays at Forge Park (behind St. Pius X). The season will run from the end of March through the end of May, ending with a Fun Day at Meadowood Park.  The cost is $60 and includes shorts and a KP T-shirt.

Tyker – Practices are held one night a week. Games are played on Saturdays and some Wednesdays at Overlook Park. Teams may practice on Saturdays until games begin. The cost is $110.  Tyker is primarily an in-house program, but will also have one and possibly two travel teams.  Please check the appropriate box on the registration form if you want to try out for the Tyker travel team.  There will be try-outs for 2 travel teams for Spring 2013, Travel A and Travel B.  Travel players do not participate in the in-house league.  There is an additional cost if your daughter makes a travel team.  The travel teams practice 2 to 3 times per week. Tryouts will be held in February, please see the evaluation dates listed above. If your daughter tries out for travel and does not make the team, she will automatically be assigned to an in-house team.  The Tyker season culminates with a "Fun Day" league picnic at the end of May.

Lightning - Practices are held one or two days a week at Overlook Park, Meadowood or Forge Park. Games are scheduled by the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA) and can take place any day of the week. The cost is $150.

Midget and Junior - Practice two days a week at Meadowood and/or Forge Park.  Games are scheduled by the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA) and can take place any day of the week. The cost is $150.

Practice for Tykers, Lightning, Midgets, and Juniors start in the beginning of March, weather permitting.  Please read our weather policy located on the left sidebar menu.
