Congratulations to former Kentucky Colonel, Chris Curley who recently signed with the Atlanta Braves. Chris is headed to Danville, Virginia to play for the Danville Braves in the Appalachian League. Chris enjoyed a very successful 3 years at Campbellsville University where this past year he was named Player of the Year in the Mid South Conference. He finished the year with a .403 batting average blasting 18 home runs, while tallying 64 RBI. Good luck Chris in your professional career.

Congratulations to University of Kentucky signee, Luke Maile on being drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 43rd round. Luke, a three year player with the Colonels, is a graduate of Covington Catholic High School where he was one of the most prolific hitters in a school rich in baseball history. Good luck to Luke no matter where he ultimately decides to continue his baseball career.
