Parking Around Lisle Parks
Now that the season is underway for all age groups it is important that parents and fans attending games at the various parks in Lisle remember to follow any parking restrictions posted on adjacent streets. In most cases streets and lots are clearly marked, and cars violating parking restrictions are in danger of receiving citations.
A few examples of parking restrictions around ball fields are as follows:
- There is no parking permitted along Rolling Drive or on Center Ave. for families attending games at Lisle Jr. High School. Please use the Junior High School parking lot and walk to the fields located on the south side of the property.
- There is no parking permitted along Kingston Ave. or on Ohio St. for families attending games on the field at Schiesher School. Please use the lot by the water tower or next to Schiesher Elementary School.
- There is no parking permitted on the east side of Black Partridge Ln. on the east side of Todd Riley Field at Beau Bien Park. Families attending games at this park must watch for other parking restrictions posted on adjacent streets.
- Families attending Shetland League games at Lisle Senior High School should park ONLY in designated parking spaces. in addition to the lot on the east side of the school there is a larger lot located on the north side of the school - just a short walk from the fields. DO NOT PARK in driveways, along the shoulder of roads or other unmarked spaces.
It is also important that fans and teams place all trash in the trash cans by all the fields. Please help us keep the parks looking great
