Marauders Lose in final seconds of GEFA Championship
July 19, 2009 - 10:45 PM Yesterday the Millville Maraduers lost to the Bayshore Brawlers by a score of 36-34 when the Brawlers scored with 7 seconds left in the game. The Marauders had taken the lead with 45 seconds left. The Millville team took it to the Brawlers after falling behind early due to a safety and a touchdown on the ensuing drive which gave the Brawlers the early lead. By half time the Marauders had taken the lead back and they were doing damage. The game was pretty much back and forth from there. The Marauders were trailing late in the fourth quarter when they got the ball. They went a drive and were looking to walk away with the championship title. With 45 seconds left RB Kevin High scored and then Logan Street followed with the extra point run. This gave the Marauders a four point lead and what seemed like the improbable...a GEFA Championship in Keystone Bowl V. Hold the press the Brawlers had the final say in this game when QB Sy Patterson scrambled from about the 10 yard line. As he approached the left sideline, Marauder linebacker Charlie Funson had his sights set on the QB, however Patterson leaped like Superman from the three yard line, Funson hit him and Patterson flipped in the air and landed in the end zone with seven seconds left in the game. The Brawlers kicked off and this time there was no Stanford-Cal finish or Touchdown Throwback or Miracle at the Meadowlands... there was just disapointment on the Millville sideline and jubilation across the field. Thanks for everyones support.

Keystone Bowl Preview from the GEFA Website
    July 13, 2009 - 10:23 PM 2009 GEFA Championship Game
Congratulations to the Bayshore Brawlers and the Millville Marauders on making it to Keystone Bowl V!

The 2009 GEFA Championship, Keystone Bowl V, will be held Saturday, July 18th, in Lykens, PA. Kickoff is scheduled for 2pm.
    Location of field coming soon...

    Bayshore Brawlers

The Bayshore Brawlers, now in their fourth season with the GEFA, have made it to their THIRD Championship game. Yes, four seasons and three Championship appearances. Of their previous two Championship appearances, they've won both games!
The 2009 season saw the Brawlers fight their way to a 7-1 regular season record only losing to the Lykens Thunder, division rivals. The Brawlers earned a first round by in the post-season based on their successful regular season record.
Bayshore met with the Middletown Maniax in the 2nd week of playoffs. This was a nail-biter game that truly could've gone either way. The final saw the Brawlers squeak by 28-26.
This win earned the Brawlers a trip to Lykens, PA for the Penn-Jersey Divisional Championship game agains the defending division Champs, Lykens Thunder. This, too, proved to be a classic game between the two powerhouses. After plenty of back and forth play, the Brawlers came out on top 34-28.
Congratulations to the Bayshore Brawlers on their THIRD Championship appearance in four season.

    Millville Marauders

The Millville Marauders, in their first season AS the Marauders (a break-off team from the S.V. Stallions), proved to be a largely under-rated group of players. With a regular season record of 5-3, the Marauders had to play all three games of the post-season leading up to this game.
The Wildcard game against the Sunbury Devils was largely a Millville controlled game. Millville won 38-12.
The 2nd week of the 2009 GEFA Playoffs saw the Marauders traveling to the #2 seed Tri-Town Braves (The Braves won the regular season meeting). This was one of those classic GEFA style games. Back and forth, lots of offense and hard-hitting defense. The final score here saw the Marauders hold on by a score of 48-40!
With the win against the Braves, Millville earned the right to host the Divisonal Championship due to their opponent, the Lewisburg Knights (another 1st year team), dethroning the defending league champs, #1 seed Williamsport Wildcats. The Knights got out to an early 14-2 lead but the Marauders came prepared and ready to win this game. Following the talented play of RB Kevin High, 200+ yards rushing, and the holes provided by the offensive line/fullback as well as the stellar defensive play by Jack Dietterick, Charlie Funson and the Marauder secondar, the Marauders came back and pulled away as the Mountain Division Champs, 51-42!

Now, the question is, will the highly talented, First Year Phenoms, keep their momentum and aggressive playing going to win Keystone Bowl V or will the experience on the Big Stage and the extraordinary talent that the Bayshore Brawlers have overcome and payoff for a third time?! Check back here or better yet come to the game in Lykens to show your support for your divisional champion or the GEFA in general as we embark upon our FIFTH successful GEFA Championship game!
Good luck and congratulations to both teams!!!

Milliville Marauders are the GEFA Mountain Division Champions
July 12, 2009 - 11:00 PM On Saturday July 11th the Millville Marauders defeated the Lewisburg Knights 51-42. The Marauders were down early, but they came storming back as they got the run game going led by Kevin High. He had a season high 209 yards rushing. This may be a league record. Once again the offensive line and fullbacks did an excellent job blocking. They included Steve Weigel, Josh Reinaker, Ryan Glatt, Chris Long, and Logan Street on a regular basis with Frank Robbins and Charlie Funson filling in as needed. High scored four touchdowns on the ground. Besides his rushing High also completed all three of his pass attempts one going for a TD to Wright and the other two going for two point conversions one to TE Chris Long and the other to QB Tyler Coombe. Coombe only completed one pass, but it was a 45 yard bomb to WR Brian Wright.

The Marauder defense did enough after being behind by a score of 20-16 at half time to hold the strong passing attack of the Knights in the second half. The Knights kept the fight up until the onside kick attempt with about 30 seconds left in the game. The defense was led in tackles by LB Frank Robbins who totaled 6 stops with 3 solo tackles.

The 2009 Millville Marauders are the Mountain Division Champs and they will play the Bayshore Brawlers on Saturday July 18th for the GEFA Championship. The game will take place at the home field of the Lykens Thunder. The league website lists the start time as 2:00 PM.

Marauders set to host Lewisburg Knights
July 9, 2009 - 09:00 AM The Millville Marauders are slated to host the Lewisburg Knights on Saturday July 11th in the GEFA Mountain Division Championship game. This is a rematch of a Week 3 game that the Marauders won 35-28. It should be known that the Knights have a vastly different look with a new QB since the last time the Marauders faced them. They are also coming off of playoff wins over the Millheim Fighting Dutchmen and the Williamsport Wildcats. Meanwhile the Marauders have defeated the Sunbury Devils and the Tri-Town Braves in the playoffs. Both of these first year teams have players with GEFA/PFL-6 experience. It should be a great game so get out early with your lawn chair to claim your spot to watch this game. Thw winner of this game will go on to face the winner of the Penn-Jersey Championship game between the Bayshore Brawlers and the Lykens Thunder. Kickoff for the division championship will be at 1:00 PM at Marauder Field at the Beer Depot in Iola, PA (near Millville).

Maraduers defeat Braves 49-40 on Saturday
June 27, 2009 - 05:40 PM The Millville Marauders are headed to the Mountain Division Championship game after defeating the Tri-Town Braves 49-40 earlier today. The Mountain Division Championship will be on Saturday July 11th at the Marauders home field against the Lewisburg Knights.
On Saturday the game was a knock-down, drag out, smashmouth type of game that you would start to expect from these two teams. The game was back and forth in the first half. At half time the score was the Braves 34-26. The Marauders were kicking off to start the second half and that is where they stole the momentum. A coffin corner kickoff by Charlie Funson was successful as #16 Coates of the Braves fielded it and went out of bounds at the 2 yard line. On second down DE Drew Lyons tackled the Tri-Town running back in the end zone for a safety. The Marauders got the ball back on the safety kick and their ground game went to work. Kevin High finished off the workman like drive with a TD run. QB Tyler Coombe then took advantage of the defense and scored on a QB sneak for the one point conversion. There was the 9 point swing and the Marauders now had the lead very early in the 2nd half. From that point on the teams jockeyed back and forth for the remainder of the game. With under two minutes to go LB Charlie Funson intercepted a pass to basically seal the victory. The Marauders could not run out the clock as the Braves had two time outs left. They did have a touchdown run by Kevin High called back due to a holding penalty. The Braves however could not score in the final 18 seconds of the game.
Kevin High lead the Marauders with 117 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 26 carries. Also contributing to the run game was Frank Robbins (11 yards) and Logan Street (13 yards). QB Tyler Coombe ran for 16 yards including a touchdown and an extra point run. Through the air Coombe was 5 of 14 for 57 yards and two touchdowns. WR Brian Wright caught one of those TDs from 30 yards out, while TE Chris Long caught the other one from 7 yards out on a 4th and goal play in the first half. Coombe added a 2 point catch off of a pass from High. Once again the line (Tackles Ryan Glatt and Josh Reinaker, Center Steve Weigel, and TE Long) did an excellent job protecting the QB and opening the running lanes for the backs.
Defensively the Maruaders were led by DE Drew Lyons who had nine total tackles, three sacks and the tackle for loss that resulted in a safety. LB Charlie Funson added eight total tackles and an interception. Meanwhile LB/DE Frank Robbins contributed with 7 tackles and two sacks. Finally standing out as well was LB Jack Dietterick who played through a knee injury to register 6 total tackles. The coverage of the defensive backs Brian Wright, TJ Styer, and Nick Winters should also be commended for shutting down the Braves prolific passing game. Overall the defense only allowed six points in the second half. For more information on the GEFA playoffs log onto www.gefootball.com. Players are reminded of practice this Wednesday at 6:00 PM.

    Marauders Defeat Sunbury Devils 38-12
June 21, 2009 - 06:50 AM The Millville Marauders defeated the Sunbury Devils 38-12 in a muddy, mucky mess on Saturday afternoon, June 20th. The weather seemed suited for the Marauders smashmouth running style. They got the early lead and never looked back. The score was 20 - 0 in the second quarter before the Devils put up 6 points. Late in the half however the Marauders made it 26-6 when QB Tyler Coombe threw a long touchdown pass to Kevin High. The Marauders were led once again by the running of High on offense and the timely play action passing of QBs Vince Skoff and Coombe. High also threw a touchdown pass to WR Brian Wright. The offensive line of Ryan Glatt, Steve Weigel, Josh Reinaker, TE Chris Long and fullback Logan Street again paved the way for the backs to do their thing.
On defense the Marauders were led by strong line play of DE Drew Lyons, LBs Charlie Funson and Jack Dietterick continued to make tackle after tackle. Also the DBs played well led by CBs Frank Robbins and TJ Styer. The final of the game was scored when LB Funson scooped up a fumble caused by DE Ryan Glatt on a QB sack and returned it 40 yards for the six points. It should be noted that the Marauders were in full force today with their entire 19 man playoff roster. Next up for the Marauders is a trip to Tri-Town (Montgomery, PA) take on the Braves. This is a rematch of the Week 8 matchup that saw the Marauders lose by 7 points to the Braves. More information on official start time will be forthcoming. Marauders lose heartbreaker to the Braves
June 14, 2009 - 08:00 AM Yesterday at Marauder Field at Beer Depot the Millville team lost to the Tri-Town Braves by a score of 39-32. This game had excitement from the beginning to the end. The Marauders were driving late in the game when they were stopped just short on a fourth down run. This game saw much of what makes GEFA football exciting. There was a kickoff return by the Braves and also a fluke touchdown: "The Immaculate Reception" GEFA style if you will when the ball bounced off of a Marauder defender helmet and into the arms of #8 on the Braves. He then waltzed into the endzone with just four seconds remaining in the first half.

The Marauders were led by the ground game again as the offensive line controlled things up front. Guards Josh Reinaker and Ryan Glatt, Center Steve Weigel, Tight End Chris Long, and Fullback Logan Street blew open holes for Kevin High and Braxton Swisher. High ran a workman like 26 times for 146 yards and a touchdown. Swisher added 48 yards and a TD on 8 carries. When they needed it though the Marauders struck quickly through the air as Brian Wright returned to game action (he was ready last week, but Bucks County forfeited) and caught 3 long touchdown passes. On the day he totalled 96 yards on 5 catches. Rounding out the scoring for the Marauders was TE Chris Long who caught a 2 point conversion pass from QB Vince Skoff. The Marauder quarterbacks each did an excellent job engineering the team down the field as veteran Vince Skoff played the first half before giving way to GEFA rookie Tyler Coombe. This was a hard fought battle on the gridiron. But while the regular season over, the action is just starting to heat up. The playoffs start next week.

Marauders get forfeit win over Bucks County Broncos
June 7, 2009 - 03:20 PM Due to circumstances on behalf of low personnel issues and illness with a member of the coaching staff, the Bucks County Broncos did not make their way to Millville yesterday. Therefore the Marauders picked up the 7-0 victory. They also picked up their troops and pillaged their way over to Montgomery Park to scout their next opponent the Tri-Town Braves. This is a HUGE matchup on Saturday June 13th with playoff implications. Everyone come out to watch the Braves take on the Marauders at 1:00 PM in the field next to the Beer Depot in Iola.

    Marauders Lose to Stallions
May 31, 2009 - 08:45 PM On Saturday May 30th the Millville Maraduers lost to the Susquehanna Valley Stallions by a score of 69-41. The Stallions got the lead early after the Marauders first drive stalled out. The Maruaders came right back with a touchdown and two point conversion. At that point it looked like it would be a back and forth game. However, the Stallions started to pull away and secured a lead that the Marauders could not come back from.

    Marauders prepping for Stallions
May 26, 2009 - 09:30 PM After a much needed bye week, the Marauders will practice once more on Wednesday May 27th at 6:00 PM before they host the Susquehanna Valley Stallions on Saturday May 30th. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 1:00 PM. If you are a fan be sure to arrive early because the action is sure to be hott from the very beginning in this one.

Many of you know that this current group of Marauders include many who formerly played for the Stallions. As the story goes, a handful decided to leave for various reasons before the season. Then a large number started the preseason with the Stallions, however, in February they also decided to make the switch and join this swashbuckling bunch of Marauders. Now the boys from Millville have added some new faces that have provided a youthful insurgence in this group of veterans. This is not simply the 05, 06, 07, or 08 Stallions with a new name. This is truly a new TEAM.

The 09 Marauders have proven that they can win on the road and are currently sitting at 4-1. However, they know as well as anyone in the league that they must prove themselves in the last three games. They host the Stallions, the Bucks County Broncos, and the Tri-Town Braves. The Marauders control their own destiny in the way of getting a first round bye if they win out. But they also know that if things fall apart, they could easily end up in the middle of the pack in the Mountain Division. All of this we will find out in the coming weeks and it all starts with "Melee in Millville" on Saturday May 30th. It should be a dandy.

Marauders withstand the Cyclones and Pillage Mt. Joy
May 16, 2009 - 09:20 PM The Marauders traveled to Mt. Joy (Lancaster County) today and got the win over a game Cyclone team by a score of 35-21. This was a very intense battle as the Marauders ran into the force of the Cyclones. The Marauders however, got it done they way they have so much this season: on the ground. Kevin High was back into his usual form by leading the rushing attack with 143 yards on 22 carries and 4 rushing TDs and one rushing extra point. This week he was lead by the offensive line of Steve Weigel at center and the guard play of Josh Reinaker and Chris Long. Meanwhile Ray Diehl, Scott Chappell also helped out upfront. Finally Chappel, and usual LBs Charlie Funson and Jack Dietterick filled in at fullback. While they helped lead by blocking, Funson, Dietterick and Long also helped out QB Vince Skoff by catching some passes. Skoff skillfully Captained the Marauder ship when they needed run or throw. Also Frank Robbins had a nice game playing both sides of the ball in "ironman" style as he ran for 26 yards and 1 TD on offense and recording 7 total tackles on defense.
Now onto the defensive side of the ball the Marauder defense was stingy again by only giving up 2 touchdowns (the 3rd Cyclone TD was scored on a kickoff return). Again Jack Dietterick led the defense with 9 solo tackles and 2 assists. A key to the win was the 3 turnovers that the Marauders caused as they got fumble recoveries from DE Drew Lyons and DE Ray Diehl as well as an interception by High when he was filling in at safety. Overall this was a very close game. The score was 0-0 at the end of the first quarter. After the Marauders got the lead early in the 2nd quarter, they never trailed again. However, the Cyclones did have the score at 22-21 in the 3rd quarter. The veteran laced Marauder team however, found the intestinal fortitude to pull away and seal up the victory. This win proved to be a true test for the men from Millville. They passed the test and are now headed into the bye week with a record of 4-1. Also the Marauders have completed the road part of their regular season at a perfect 4-0.

Practice is this Wednesday May 20th at 6:00. Happy Memorial Day. We strap things up again on May 30th at home against the Susquehanna Valley Stallions. This is being billed as the "Route 42" rivalry.

MARAUDERS ROLL THROUGH MILLHEIM - WINNING BY A SCORE OF 60-0
May 9, 2009 - 10:30 PM Earlier today the Marauders defeated the Millheim Fighting Dutchmen by a score of 60 - 0. It was the most points the Marauders scored thus far and was also their first shutout. The Marauder defense led the way on Saturday, leading the band of brothers from Millville to a shut out victory. The ramsacking defenders were led by #35 Jack Dietterick – the linebacker/tackling machine- led the way with 24 total stops, 16 of those being solos. He also got in the act with 2 sacks and an interception. The pillaging got underway in the first quarter when DE Drew Lyons took the ball away from the Dutchman running back and returned it 15 yards for the second score of the game. Lyons also added 2 sacks to give him 8 on the year. Also getting in on the pillaging action was DB TJ Styer who had a late interception. The former Danville Ironman added five tackles on the day. LB Charlie Funson was second on the team in tackles Saturday with eight total stops.
On offense the Marauders basically had their way with the Dutchmen defense. Despite not having their starting QB Vince Skoff (he was busy in Atlantic City, NJ qualifying for the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas – good job Vince). Backup QB Tyler Coombe continued his connection that he started last week with WR Theron Bowers as they connected on 3 TDs. Coombe was an efficient 6-10 passing for 100 yards. Because of the excellent upfront play by the Marauders the air attack was not needed. The Marauders ground out 163 yards on 30 carries total with 8 different players toting the rock. Back up RB Frank Robbins (58 yards, 1TD) and starting FB Logan Street (46 yards, 2TD) led the ground attack. The men upfront opening the holes were C Steve Weigel (Bloomsburg High Grad), Gs Josh Marks (Southern Columbia and Penn State Nittany Lions) and Josh Reinaker (Danville High) and TE Chris Long (Milton High and Bucknell University). They just controlled things as the Marauders opened up a 40-0 lead at the half. Rounding out the scoring for the Marauders was 400 lb. Steve “Mongo” Brown who rumbled for a TD and Drew Lyons who ran one in from 3 yards out while he was lining up at QB in the 3rd quarter. Catching a 2 point pass was TE Long, and the following all ran for one point conversions: Charlie Funson, Scottie Chappell, Robbins, and Street.
This week the Marauders travel to play the Mount Joy Cyclones on Saturday, May 16th. Kickoff time is set for 1:00 PM. More details of leave time will come at practice on Wednesday night at 6:00 PM.

THE INVASION CONTINUES - MARAUDERS DEFEAT LEWISBURG KNIGHT 35-28
May 2, 2009 - 07:00 PM The Millville Marauders got back on track earlier today with a win over the Lewisburg Knights. The score was 35-28. The Marauders came back after being down by 3 points at halftime. The Marauders once again pounded the ball with the running attack of Kevin High and Logan Steet. High ran for 80 yards and one TD on the day. However with the entire Knights defense keying on #1 Kevin High, the Marauders were injected with a shot of youthful enthusiasm as GEFA rookie QB Tyler Coombe took control of the offense. He debuted today with an efficient passing day completing 10 out of 13 passes and four touchdowns and 137 yards. Theron Bowers led receivers catching 3 of Coombe's TD passes. Those long passes totaled 30, 32, and 24 yards, Bowers totaled 96 yards receiving on the day. Also catching a TD pass was TE Chris Long from 3 yards out. After a few misreads in the first half the offensive line got things together and were led by C Steve Weigel and G Josh Reinaker in protecting Coombe.

The Marauder defense tightened up in the second half and was led by Jack Dietterick with 18 total tackles from his linebacker spot. 15 of those tackles were solo as he continually tracked down the QB running and receivers coming across the middle. Constant pressure was applied on the Knights QB all day and Ryan Glatt tracked him down twice and Drew Lyons got to the QB once forcing a fumble that was recovered by Glatt. Charlie Funson (LB) and Kevin High (DB) contributed with 7 stops each.

Also the Marauders were keyed on special teams with a successful onside kick to start the 2nd half and the excellent tackling ability of Ole Peg Legs Ray Diehl who had 3 tackles. Be sure to check out the Marauders in their next game Saturday May 9th when they travel west to Milheim to take on the Millheim Fighting Dutchmen. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 PM. See ya then Mateys.

    MARAUDERS GAME 2 RECAP
April 26, 2009 - 06:40 PM Today the Millville Maruaders put up a valiant fight against the defending champion Williamsport Wildcats. However the final was a loss by the score of 47-21. The score was tied at 8-8 early in the game, but there was a key momentum swing late in the 2nd quarter that included a long touchdown by the Cats and another quick score after an unplanned "onside" kick. While the Marauders could never quite catch up, they did not give up. They scored a touchdown late in the game in an attempt to mount the comeback.
The defense was led once again by LBs Jack Dietterick (16 total tackles) and Charlie Funson (17 total tackles) and DL Drew Lyons (10 total tackles). Both Dietterick and Funson had double digit numbers in tackles while Lyons, wearing his familar #54, recorded multiple sacks again this week with 2.
On offense the Marauders took advantage of having their entire offensive line at a game/scrimmage for the first time this season and utilized a TE set and power running game. In the 90+ degree heat they continually pounded RB Kevin High with the occasional give to the FB Logan Street. High ended the day with 99 yards on 24 carries and 2 TDs behind the 4 man line that averages 277 lbs. High also threw a TD pass on the HB Option pass. QB Vince Skoff could not quite get the quick strike long ball on track against the vaunted Wildcat defense, but did finish the day with an efficient 9-16 for 44 yards.
Overall the mistakes caught up to the Marauders and the Wildcats were the victors on this unseasonably warm Sunday afternoon. Next week the Marauders travel to Lewisburg to face the first year Knights on Saturday May 2nd. Marauders roll over Sunbury Devils
April 18, 2009 - 10:25 PM The Millville Marauders defeated the Sunbury Devils today by a score of 53-12. The ''''''''Misfit'''''''' Millville Marauders took things to a huge level in their inaugural game. They took it to the Devils from the start and were winning 25-0 at halftime. The Marauders were led by a balanced attack of passing and running on Offense. Although the defense led the team with 3 safeties in the first half. The score was 4-0 at one point. The Marauders held on the entire game. They were led on offense by Kevin High at RB/WR and Vince Skoff at QB. High had 118 Total yards from scrimmage and 3 TDs (2 rushing/ 1 reception) and Skoff completed 9-11 passes for 135 yards and 4 TDs and ran in a QB sneak that had the Devils defense really baffled by the Marauders formation. Besides High, Wide Receivers Theron Bowers (81) and Brian Wright (7) each caught a TD pass. Also in a play that caught the Devils totally off guard, FB Logan Street (99) caught a TD. Street also provided a great change of pace back to High as he pounded out 19 hard fought yards on the ground. All of this was done behind the solid blocking of Guards Ryan Glatt (69) and Chris Long (79) and the center combination of Charles Funson (72) and Jack Deitterick (35).

On the Defensive side of the ball the Marauders had a shutout until part way through the 3rd quarter and by that time the game was well in hand as the band of Pirates and Scallywags had a 33 point lead. They were lead by the impressive pass rush of DE Drew Lyons (21). Recovering from knee and ankle injuries, Lyons showed no signs of slowing down as he had 3 sacks and many more hurries on the Devils QB Dean Hollenbach. The Marauders were led by the tackling machine of Jack Dietterick at linebacker with 10 total tackles and Charlie Funson who had 8 tackles. Brian Wright provided superior coverage in the secondary as well as GEFA rookies TJ Styer (55) and Frank Robbins (56).

We expect to see everyone at practice on Wednesday at 6:00 (as of this writing 9:40 on Sunday night). Then all the fans and friends are invited to see the Marauders take on the Williamsport Wildcats in their first home game on SUNDAY April 26th. The game time is set for 2:00 PM. See you all there.

April 13, 2009 - 10:55 PM The Marauders have one more practice scheduled for Wednesday, April 15th at 6:00. Then on Saturday April 18th the Maruaders open their season in their innaguaral game in Sunbury against the Devils. The Devils have been a force on the GEFA scene the last two years that they have been in existence. Many of the current Marauders have faced exciting and excellent games against the Devils in the past when the Marauders were all members of the Stallions. This one should be sure to be exciting. So if you are a fan be sure to make your way to Sunbury's Goodwill Playground. It will be sure to be an entertaining afternoon of football on Saturday.

March 22, 2009 - 05:15 PM The Millville Marauders are a first year team in the Great Eastern Football Association (Formerly the PFL-6). The Marauders while being an expansion team contain many players that are new to the GEFA style of play. Led by Team Owner/Head Coach Charlie Funson the Marauders are made up of many players that have played with the Susquehanna Valley Stallions in the past. This team chemistry should be a great help for the Marauders in their initial season.

The Marauder football organization would like to extend good luck to the whole league, and we are looking forward to hard-nosed, fast paced football action in 2009!
