They played their way to the finals by defeating the Bergen Beach Bobcats in the quarter-finals and the Coatesville Outlaws in the semi-finals. In September and October the team will be traveling to Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania to complete its busy fall schedule, and are looking forward to competing in many championship games.

During the winter the team will be getting ready for the spring and summer season which will start in early spring of 2009.

The Force would like to welcome the newly formed 12U and 13U teams to its organization. The teams will be starting play in the fall of 2008.

Mission Statement
It is our intention to provide each participant with an atmosphere in which to appreciate the importance of character, integrity, and sportsmanship through the medium of amateur baseball. Further, we want to encourage each player to develop and incorporate a work ethic that will extend his baseball knowledge and skills to the highest possible level. Our ultimate goal is that all of the above factors combined will result in success on and off the baseball field.

Our goals for each individual and the team are:
1. To contribute to the continuing development of player self-
esteem and confidence.
2. To strengthen fundamental baseball knowledge and
playing ability.
3. To learn to accept one’s mistakes and move on, knowing that others have confidence in you.
4. To realize that having confidence in oneself can be the difference between success and failure.
5. To count on and to trust one’s instincts for success on and off the field.
6. To recognize when to be a leader and when to be a follower to contribute to team success.
7. To understand that teamwork is more important than individual success.
8. To encourage support of the team concept and team spirit.
9. To gain exposure to quality baseball through coaching, competition and tournament play.
10. To experience life situations as a consequence of team
travel and tournament play.
