We will be voting on some Division Commissioners, and the registrar, along with the Important Dates for Spring.

PROPOSED IMPORTANT DATES FOR SPRING 2010 SEASON
Week of November 30th- Temporary Rosters will be distributed to Age Division Commissioners. Age Division Commissioners will distribute to their coaches by the following weekend.
December 2, 2009 – Player Pool Draw registration opens for the Spring 2009 season
Week of December 14th– Registration Flyers will be distributed to all Mesquite, Balch Springs & Sunnyvale schools as well as Mesquite Recreational Centers and potential businesses
Saturday, January 9, 2010- Commissioner Workshop 10-2:00.
Monday, January 18, 2010 – Coaches Meeting. Location: TBA @ 7:00 pm
Monday, January 18, 2010 – Schedule Requests from coaches are due to their appropriate Age Division Commissioner.
Monday, January 18, 2010 –Temp Rosters are due back to the Registrar, indicating the middle school and the requested number of players, in order to participate in the Player Pool Draw scheduled for
Monday, January 18, 2010 – Team Clubbing Request. All letters requesting clubbing along with Temp Rosters are due to the Registrar by this due date. Please send a copy to your appropriate age division commissioner and the MSA Secretary. The MSA Registrar will notify the Coach(es) prior to registration.
Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 - Deadline for Pool Draw Entries all Age Divisions.
Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 – Spring 2010 Player Pool Draw. The player pool draw will be performed "Lottery Style". The remaining players from the 1st Pool Draw will be distributed through the 2nd Pool Draw

Feb. 12-14, 2010-The 1st Annual 2010 Cupid’s Cup Spring Tournament
Monday, February 15, 2010 – Mandatory Coaches Meeting. Location: TBA @ 7:00 pm
Saturday. Feb. 20, 2010– Spring 2010 2nd Player Pool Draw & U16/19 1st Player Pool Draw. The player pool draw will be performed "Lottery Style". And is open to teams who either participated in the 1st Pool Draw or have fallen below roster minimum

Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 – Completed Sponsorship applications along with the $20.00 fee per application are due no later than 3 p.m. to the MSA office in order to be eligible for consideration. Applications received after the deadline date will be returned to applicant.
Monday, March 1, 2010- Sponsorship Review Committee Meeting - MSA Office @ 10 am
Saturday, March 6, 2010 - TEAM REGISTRATION - Division Commissioners MUST be present to register the teams in their division. ALL teams MUST register on or before this date in order to be place on the season schedule.

Saturday, March 6, 2010 – Team Orientation Weekend – Eastfield Soccer Complex. Time - TBA
Thursday, March 11, 2010- Add/Delete Player Registration & U16/19 Team Registration. Division Commissioners MUST be present to register any applicable add/deletes. Time & Location: TBA
Saturday March 20, 2010 - Spring SEASON BEGINS for U-5 through U-14
Saturday April 3, 2010 Spring Season Begins for U16/19 & Last Day to Add Players (2nd weekend of regular season) - Last day to add player(s) to teams in the U5 – U14 age divisions that are at or above roster minimum for their appropriate age group.
ALL DATES NOTED ABOVE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH PROPER NOTICE

The Play Off Schedule has been REVISED due to the Monday night rainout, PLEASE take note of any changes to your age group. It is the coach's responsibility to know when their Play Off Games are.

For the health of all of our players, we are recommending that ill players stay home from games, practices, and team events until they have been fever free (without the use of tylenol, motrin or other fever reducing medicines) for a minimum of 24 hours.
