COMMISSIONERS MEETING POSPONED UNTIL TUESDAY 2/16/10

Due to the massive amounts of SNOW accumulation ....... the meeting has been postponed until next TUESDAY. Same place.....same time!

FREE REGISTRATION -BASEBALL & SOFTBALL
Registrations are being accepted each weekend, Saturday & Sunday from noon - 4pm, beginning January 30th at Mound City Little League. We will be registering all children from age four-fourteen(4-14) for baseball, ages seven- eighteen (7-18)for softball. Please bring a birth certificate and a parent or guardian. In keeping with tradition....Mound City WILL continue the "NO PAY TO PLAY" as it has for over half a century.
2010 OSU TITAN SKILLS & DRILLS SOFTBALL CAMP
March 6, 2010
Once again the OSU Titan Softball Team will host the annual Skills & Drills Softball Camp in Adena Hall @ OSU Newark. The camp is FREE to any 2010 registered Mound City softball player. This is a very informative & structured camp covering all aspects of the game. Registrations will be taken each weekend @ the ballpark from noon-3pm beginning January 30th, or by phone, contact Teresa anytime @ 787-1823 or 334-9681. Deadline for camp registration is March 4th.
*FYI The Titans will also have shirts for sale $10.00

Baseball Coaches Meetings

Baseball coaches meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month @ 6:30 p.m There should be a representative from each team, at each meeting. These meetings are full of information needed to be a successful coach. Times be adjusted when the season begins.
Commissioners Meeting
February 10, 2010 - 06:30 PM
Commissioners meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month.
Softball Coaches meeting
January 20, 2010 - 06:00 PM
Softball Coaches meetings will be held on the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month. Softball Board meetings will follow the coaches meeting. Times will change when the season opens.
Objective
The objective of Mound City Little League Inc. shall be to firmly implant in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage,and reverence, so they may become finer, stronger and happier youth and will grow into good, moral, healthy citizens.
Established
Mound City Little League Inc. was established in 1954, the first, the original ballpark in Newark, the finest organized little league ballpark in Licking County. Mound City offers a state of the art facility, offering eight(8)onsite ball diamonds, baseball & softball, instructional structured divisions beginning at age four(4)and continuing to age eighteen(18).We are happy to also provide paved handicap & stroller friendly walkways,covered seating, large modern restrooms facilities, concession area, water fountains, playground,& ample parking. These amenities are anchored by a centrally located fieldhouse that house the restroom facilities, directors office and concessions on the first level, and also showcase an upperlevel clubhouse which features a wrap-around viewing deck which overlooks the entire park.
Another little known fact about Mound City is...... Mound City is one of only three facilities in the entire state of OHIO who offer a "NO PAY TO PLAY" program. This is due to our many dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors from all over the county. It truly doesn't get much better than this! t
