2010 Spring Registrations Underway!
Online Registrations for the Spring 2010 season are underway! This season will be the best ever as we celebrate our 5th year of serving the youth of Hays County. Our plans are full of special celebrations including a Birthday Beach Party in May, a special commemorative program, a commemorative t-shirt and the kick-off of our Memorial & Tribute Brick Pathway leading to our flagpole. Of course, we will also have great coaches, unprecedented player training (new equipment just arrived!) and a fun time with the NHO family. Come see what it's all about. It won't be the same without you!
Spring 2010 rates have been set at $55 for Baseball. Kinderball is $45. Early registrations will be discounted to $50 (BB) and $40 (KB) if paid before December 31st.
Rainouts
We are finally getting rain again. Remember that if we have had any rain, to please visit the rainout icon to find out if the fields will be closed or not. We will not make any cancellations until an hour before game time unless we know that the conditions will not improve!
NHO Board Changes
The North Hays County Optimist Foundation Board is pleased to announce some changes effective immediately.
Terri Richter has resigned as the NHO Baseball President to take on the Optimist Board position of Vice-President. She will serve in a dual role as President of the newly established NHO Softball Board.
Replacing Terri as the President of NHO Baseball is Aaron Hanson. Aaron has served the Program for over two years as the VP for Baseball and is ready to take on the new challenges.
Board Positions
The NHO Baseball and Softball Board has gone through a restructure to better align duties and get prepared for the season. Vacant positions include:
Player Agent
BB/SB Concessions Coordinator
Field Commissioner for Field 4
Interested parties should email their desire to fill a position to Aaron. Interviews will be scheduled as soon as possible.
The Kinderball Commisioner position has been filled by Cliff "Big Country" Neuweg. I would like to welcome him aboard and you can find his contact information in the contact info icon. Thanks Cliff
