FALL TRYOUTS ARE ON WEDNESDAY 5TH FOR HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS AND THURSDAY 6TH FOR 4TH-8TH GRADE PLAYERS. RESULTS WILL BE POSTED ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT!
Fall Tryout Results - Please check your e-mail for the final roster. If you didn't receive an e-mail, e-mail us! 4th-8th Grade Tuition is due Saturday 8th ($150)... Please send to 134 Arthur Court Mahwah NJ 07430 made out to North Jersey Blast. For every day it arrives late there is a $5 interest fee attached. Please send the tuition in immediately and take advantage of the fact that we have the cheapest fall league of any local AAU team around. If you need to purchase a uniform, the fee is $140, that should be with the tuition check.

The North Jersey Blast is a non-profit Girls' AAU program located in Northern New Jersey and pools from all different counties in New Jersey and New York. The NJB teams are not affiliated with the New Jersey Jazz (Palisades Jazz / Secaucus Patriots), Bergen Blaze, New Jersey Mavericks, or the Bergen Jazz.
MISSION STATEMENT: The North Jersey Blast was established for children to play, improve, and have fun at a competitive level. We, the administrator, coaches, and parents associated with the Blast, commit ourselves to the fundamental proposition that we will meet the age-appropriate needs of all those children we serve. We will promote sports as an opportunity to learn essential life skills, to behave with the utmost sportsmanship, and to gain an appreciation for commitment and hard work.

Another benefit of the program is that we keep the statistics for every player at each game during the spring season. This includes points, foul shots, percentages of field goals and 3-pointers, the location of where the shots are being taken, assists, offensive and defensive rebounds (including those from the opponent), steals, turnovers, and blocked shots. We also occasionally tape games for lessons and viewing. All of this is also through parent volunteers to help keep the cost of tuition down. A copy of the video taped games can be provided to parents and any scouts.
INFORMATION ON AAU QUALIFICATIONS:
AAU is based on the Player's Age as of January 1st. For example, if you turned 12 in December, your age on January 1st would be 12, and therefore you qualify for the 12u team for the remainder of the year. If you turned 13 on January 2nd, you are still 12u for the Spring, Fall, and Winter seasons.

So far, the North Jersey Blast had 15 players invited to attend the ADIDAS Phenom Camp in California! This is the most of any AAU program. Four players have also received invitations to the Jr. All American Camp and one player has received an invitation to the Blue Star Camp.
