Stats and Game Updates
Throughout the season stats and game results may not appear immediately. That may occur due to gathering information from the home team on away games, and then viewing film so that we can have the stats as accurate as possible. I know everyone is eager to see results for each game and we are certainly working to have them posted by monday evening following the games. Thank you for your understanding.
League Play Begins
The Vikings open up their league schedule against the Brookhaven Bearcats. Vikings are looking to bounce back from from a tough loss to South Division's Marion-Franklin Red Devils. The team is looking forward to starting off with a win in their first league game of 2009 to get a jumpstart by beating Brookhaven. Brookhaven has controlled the North Division lately and the Vikings look to put an end to all of that. It will not be an easy task, but it can and certainly will get done!
Two Vikings Have Committed
The Vikings have 2 players so far that have committed to play football next year at the Division 1 level. Jude Adjei-barimah has committed to Bowling Green State University, while Quentin Jones has committed to The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Our football family is certainly proud of them, and we expect at least a few more to be coming down the road as the season goes along.
