The Piedmont Baseball League's Annual Meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Hockessin Memorial Hall. Please use the front entrance to the building and proceed to the 2nd floor meeting room. This is your opportunity to influence the management of the league through the election of members of the Board of Directors.

Fall Baseball Training Program for Piedmont Baseball players ages
8 to 14, offered by Elite Athletic Specialists and Be Your Best Academy.
Thank you to everyone that supported our Piedmont Baseball State Tournmanet Teams!
* Piedmont is the Cal Ripken State Champion at the 11U and 12U levels.
* Piedmont is the Babe Ruth State Champion at the 14U and 15U levels.
These teams will move on to their Mid-Atlantic Regional tournaments over the next few weeks.
Also, our 9U State Tournament team will compete for the Cal Ripken championship beginning this Saturday, July 25th. Please come out and support them! Here is their schedule...
Games are at Fox Point (River Road Park off of Gov. Prinz Blvd)
- Saturday, July 25 at 1 PM - Piedmont vs Bear
- Saturday, July 25 at 4 PM - Fox Point vs Piedmont
- Sunday, July 26 at 1 PM - Seed # 2 vs Seed # 3
- Sunday, July 26 at 4 PM - Seed #1 vs Winner of Game 4

All Managers are responsible to ensure that field maintenance procedures are followed after each game or practice. Please review the attached document for specific rolls, detailed tasks, and general guidelines.
Snack Discount Coupons
Available in a packets of 10, each coupon can be redeemed for a slice of pizza or a hot dog and a beverage (non-coupon price of $2.00 for only $1.50!). Each booklet sells for $15.00, for a total savings of $5.00.
Coupon books will be available through the concession stand until April 30th. Don't delay since there is a limited quantity. Not only is this a great discount, it allows the kids to purchase food and drink without carrying money around the ballpark. Please note that these coupons are the equivalent of cash and if lost they are not refundable.

Piedmont has established a weather-related, field status phone number at 302-239-0715.
Piedmont will maintain a current field status message at this number, 302-239-0715. The standard message will be that the games are ON. However, when appropriate the message will indicate that the fields are unplayable and games are cancelled.
This phone number can be used by parents, players and coaches.
