1- Once again "ALL JERSEYS MUST BE WORN FOR THE REMAINER OF THE SEASON" for all returning teams and New teams that have there jerseys please continue to show the same respect and wear your jerseys as well if you got them... The league has explained the rules in regard to not having jerseys. So don't come to me complaining about the rules and regulations. We are all adults and must act accordenly, as well as, a little professionalizm to which we must uphold.
2- Parks department has explained to us that there are people going around stealing equipment, bags, money and other things from peoples area in the dugouts. So if there are any fans or random people that come over to watch the game you have the right to ask them not to hang out in your dugout. Be aware that we are not responsible for lost, stolen nor damaged items.
Next thing on the agenda is "Final goals and what we are looking toward to.":
1- June 2 2013 will be the final regular season game. Make sure you have checked your eligibilties for all your players. 8 games out of a 16 game season = 8wks of games are requirments. Don't get caught up with a player not being eligible for the play0ffs if they didn't make the necessary requirements to be there. No Excuses.
2- As of April 28th final rosters have been handed in. From this point on you can not play nor field any players that are not in your final roster handed in. If caught cheating the games that the illegal player has played in will end up as losses in the books no matter what the end result was. Be aware this is the reason why we have collected Lineup cards so that we can date back all games.
3- Some of you have asked why we have so many weeks off. Well lets explain:
a} Mothers Day weekend - giving time off to celebrate with the ones that have given birth to us, ones that have taken care of you thru your life [those adopted or living with others for whatever reason.] and/or for the Mothers of your own children [Of course if you have any.].
b} Memorial Weekend - They run a lot of tournaments so most fields are not available that weekend regardless.
c} We are giving back something special to the league for June 9th 2013. 4yrs and running is great. As I continue to state each passing year we try to do many different things. Examples: Raffles for American Cancer Society, All-Star games with HR derbies, Trip to Puerto Rico for some players in our league and now........
We have been excepted to walk in the P.R. DAY PARADE, June 9th 2013. We are starting things off by inviting those that participated in the PR Trip that we took this year. Next to invite MGR's from every team. You MGR's can have 5 total People from your team to join us in the walk on PR Day. It will be $40 per person and $20 for the kids. This will cover the fee's and tshirts that are being given out for this special day. There is a curtain number of people that we are allowed to bring so once I get all the MGR's info then we can invite others. We would love to have everyone, but we are not allowed to bring soo many.
* $40 adults *$20 kids - requirements I need are full official names, addresses, phone #'s and size of tshirts..... Need this ASAP... Time stands still for no one and nor will I!!!!!
d} June 16th we will behaving our All-Star game with HR derby
*Winner of HR Derby will receive $50 in cash
*Best Pitcher and Batter for the Spring 2013 season will receive &100 in Cash
* One MVP from both teams in the All-Star game will receive a small trophy for there show case of talent thru the game. MGR's and/or players working together to make that choice.
* Winning team will face off with the QLSA Weeknite Softball League for a rematch of our match against them last year at there home field, which we won. Now they will be coming to our house to battle us for bragging rights...
We will be having a BBQ for our All-Star Game as well. Location will be in the AM at Randalls Island. We will be asking people to bring extra food and drinks.
Following the AllStar game Wild Card and first Round playoffs will be in Cunningham and QueensBridge, so make sure you make some preparations. We have given more then enough time for you to make sure arrangements are made. No excuses please... All playoffs and championship games will have 2 umpires manditory. We do not want anything falling on one mans hands, so to make sure there are more then one set of eyes you have two sets of eyes. That means ump fees will double for the first two games and regular fee if one more needs to be played. Best 2 out of 3 games move on. Wild card game is one game elimination then you will face the next opponent same day.
1st place and 2nd place team will having a bye from the first rounds...
Championships will be on June 30th. Place to be determined.
PRIZE FOR THE CHAMPIONS WILL BE $2000 ..... ALMOST TRIPLE THE ACTUAL LEAGUE FEE'S..... MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN.....

Format for the ALL-STAR GAME will be:
*Best player on the team choosen by stats posted on your team page. 1 first player. For the first 8 teams...
*MGR's from all 8 teams will choose the remaining 3 players to play.
*MGR's are asked to come as well and have the option to play.
*The teams that will be united will be 1,4,5,7 vs 2,3,6,8
*9th place team will have two players. Choosen by MGR. Both players will be split one on both either team.
*Shirts will be given out at the field courtesy of REDNMF SOFTBALL LEAGUE
*HR DERBY we will be looking to have anywhere from 10-15 players total. Second rounds will be top 5-7 players depending on how many we have. Final round will be top 3 players. every round best out of 10 try's...
*Winning team will face off against QLSA WEEKNITE LEAGUES All-Star team...

*1st place and 2nd place team will get a first rounds bye
*Wild Card and 1st rounds:
3rd place VS 5th place best 2 out of 3, Wild Card 6th place VS 7th place one game elimination winner will face 4th place for 1st rounds best 2 out of 3...
*Second rounds will be: 1st place vs 3rd place and 2nd place vs 4th place
*Final rounds will be: 1st place vs 2nd place final teams remaining... Time and Field will be determined by the league... Final best 2 out of 3 wins...
Brackets will be determined by better regular season standings...
