All players interested in trying out for the Senior American Legion Baseball Team for the summer 2022 season should keep watching this page.

 

All players must be residents of Springfield/Morton school district and should be currently registered as members of Springfield Athletic Association for the 2022 season.

 

Contact travel baseball director  Jeff Kilgallen at 610 761 7009 with any questions.

 

After Jan 1 2022: To register/sign up to play, go to www.springfieldaa.org and register.  Select travel baseball in the sign up menu.

 

Rough schedule for 2022 :
 
Season starts around May 23 and continues thru June 30th.  Usually play 3 games per week but rain outs can force more than 3.

 

Double elimination playoffs tourney beginning about July 5th and ending about July 12th. 

 

Please leave open the weekends of :

 

 If win league Tourney, we move to Regional State tourney at Bristol PA July 16-20.

If win: Next level = State Championship July 23-27 at Boyertown, PA

If win: Next level = Mid Atlantic Championship Aug3-7 at Morgantown, WV

If win: National World Series = Aug 11 -Aug 16 at Shelby, NC 

 2020 bats = wood (Must be single piece of wood NO COMPOSITE WOOD)
