2010 Spring Fling at the Plex
GREAT NEWS!!! WE ARE STARTING OUR TOURNEY ON FRIDAY NIGHT TO ADD A FEW MORE TEAMS!
ALL 10U & 12U ALONG WITH SOME HS DIVISION TEAMS WILL START GAMES ON FRIDAY NIGHT, I HAVE TRIED TO SETUP GAMES LATER FOR THE OUT OF TOWN TEAMS SO PLAN ACCORDINGLY!
ONCE TEAMS ARE PAID AND CONFIRMED I CAN FINALIZE THE SCHEDULE.
Our indoor tournament dates have been set for Feb. 26th,27th & 28th, 2010 at the Omaha Sports Complex at 144th & Giles, Omaha, NE!
We hope to have another great tournament! Last year's tourney was an incredible success. We had teams from 5 states and many came a long way to enjoy some softball indoors! Hopefully we can reach out to a few more teams and states this year?
We are looking forward to another huge turnout! Games start on Friday @ 7:00 pm and will run thru Sunday with championship games @ 1:25 pm for 10U & 12U & @ 6:50 pm for 14U & HS divisions.
Entry fee this year will be $390 per team and we will have divisions for
10U, 12U, 14U, 16U/18U(HS division) (Min. of 4 teams per division). Pitching distances will be 10U- 35', 12U- 40', 14U- 40', 16U/18U(HS)- 43'.
Balls provided for each game. Dbl. elimination- 3 game guarantee. 60 min. time limits with no new inning starting with less than 5 mins. remaining. See official rules below.
If you know of any teams interested please give them our website address and encourage them to register! This is a "one-of-a-kind" tourney in the region so don't miss out!
Our flyers and registration forms are attached to copy, fill out and mail back to enter. Please include your form and registration fee to hold your spot! The tourney will fill by November and we have to limit the amount of teams so enter early! Last year we were full by November so plan accordingly and reserve your spot today.
COACHES- Please note you will be required to provide a roster and also have all players participating fill out a liability waiver below. Print out, make players/parents sign and bring to check-in before your first game. This is a non-sanctioned tournament so rosters will be for information only. Also, show proof of team insurance at check in.
REFUND POLICY: If a team pulls out of tournament after Dec. 1st they will receive 50% of entry fee back and after Feb. 1st will receive no refund.
WEATHER POLICY:
If weather is an issue, cancellation decision will be made 2 days in advance as facility requires 48 hrs. notice by us to cancel.
If no games played due to weather issue- $350 of entry fee returned.
Once games are played- no refunds as facility requires payment.

Tournament Notes
Modern Images will once again be present to take all your action photos and have prints ready on Sunday to sell!
Tournament t-shirts will be available for purchase!
Players may wear tennis shoes or rubber molded cleats on the field turf surface.
Spectators can bring lawn chairs to sit outside the fences.
Entry fees will be $5 each day or $8 for a weekend pass. Children 8 & under will be free.
Our fees have changed to accommodate the fees charged by the facility for temporary activity passes so we could incorporate both into our entry fee.

No coolers or food/drink can be brought inside facility.
Concessions will be available.
Trophies/medals will be given to 1st/2nd place teams in each division.

It turned out to be a great weekend of softball INSIDE, even though the weather did not cooperate outside, we still were able to get most everyone to the tourney. Unfortunately, we had a couple that were unable to make the trip and we hope to see them and all of you next year!
