CYO Has a New Website!
Come check out the CYO at its new home, www.st-bernadettecyo.org. Thanks to the efforts of the CYO Board, but mostly Skip Warnick, the website is up and running and hopefully will be clear and easy to navigate.
Please look for an e-mail from the CYO from the following sender: stbernadettescyo@googlegroups.com. If you cannot find it, please check your spam folder and make it an O.K. sender. CHRISTMAS TREES are being delivered on Sunday, November 29, sometime between 1 and 4 p.m. Please consider donating some of your time to help unload the trees.
Soccer
The soccer season is officially over. A big thank you goes out to Paul Jackson and Julie Barry. Please talk with either of them if you think you might like to take on the position of girls’ commissioner of soccer next year. We’d also like to thank our coaches, players, and parents who gave it their all. We invite any constructive advice to keep improving our program for our players!
IMPORTANT: Parents: If you have not done so, please return your child’s soccer uniform to his or her coach as soon as possible. Coaches, please return soccer uniforms to Marti Bollo as soon as possible. CYO has implemented a new rule that new uniforms cannot be issued to children that have uniforms outstanding. This new rule will require coordination between parents, coaches, and the equipment coordinator but will result in fewer lost uniforms and ultimately save money.

Registration for CYO Sports 2009-2010
St. Bernadette CYO has changed its registration process!
The parent/guardian of every player wishing to register for CYO sports needs to access the Archdiocesan CYO online registration website at www.washcyo.com. Those not currently in the online system (e.g., 2008-09 kindergartners or new families) must register using the system, and those already in the system must enter the Fall 2009 grade, any other updated information (e.g., e-mail address), and review and accept the Standards of Spectator Behavior.
Each parent/guardian must then print the online registration summary information form, SIGN and date the form, and provide it to the St. Bernadette CYO with the appropriate fee. (EACH CHILD'S FORM MUST HAVE A SYSTEM-PRINTED GRADE TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION. Writing the grade on the form DOES NOT complete the registration process.)
Steps to Registering:
1. Go to www.washcyo.com
2. Click on "Online Registration/Forms" (bottom left of the page)
3. Under "Online Registration," click on "Players"
4. Complete the 3 steps to registration (indicating your interest in coaching where appropriate)
5. Print form (one for each child grade 1-8)
6. Sign form and return it to school or mail it to Jennifer Herlihy with payment

Keep up to date on what's going on at St. B's CYO. Just send an e-mail to stbernadettecyo@gmail.com with "add me to e-mail group" in the subject line. It's that simple! CYO Board members rotate the responsibility of responding to any questions that you send via this email. If you have specific questions related to the current sport, please e-mail the commissioner directly. Their e-mail addresses are always posted on the website by their sport.
