Spartans Will Not Compete in 2009
Due to a number of reasons the Sullivan Spartans will not be competing in 2009. A 2010 return is possible. Head Coach/GM Jared Carrier will help in placement of all past players looking for a place to play either in the CBL or other leagues.
Players responsible for outstanding fees and uniforms are expected take care of their duty. If you have any questions please refer them to the below e-mail:

2008 Postseason Awards
July 31, 2008
Following an 0-2 playoff performance in which the Spartans dropped two games by one run to eventual CBL champion Wappingers, the Spartans have announced their post-season awards for 2008.
Offensive MVP: Mickey Collins (Oneonta State)
Defensive MVP: George Ban (American River College)
Pitching MVP: Mark Fochesato (St. Thomas Aquinas)
Determination on whether the Spartans will be competing in 2009 will be made by December 1, 2008. Season stats will be updated in September.
Player of the Week
Each Sunday throughout the season the Spartans will be naming the player who has had the biggest impact over the course of the previous week.
Week Ending:
Sunday May 25th: #23 Marc Morterallo, C: 7-for-15 (.467), 2 doubles, 2 runs, 3 stolen bases and 3 RBI.
Sunday June 1st: #10 Brian Aponte, 2B/3B and #20 Mark Fochesato, RHP: Aponte went 6-for-9 (.667), 2 doubles, 3 runs scored, 3 walks and knocked in 6 runs. Fochesato threw his second straight complete game shutout, allowing one hit, striking out eight and walking none.
Sunday June 8th: #12 Alberto Perez, LHP: Perez had two appearances spanning 4 2/3 innings. He allowed no runs (1 unearned), struck out three while not allowing any hits.
