IN 2010 OUR SENIOR DIVISION (12 & 13) 7TH & 8TH GRADE, WILL BE DIVIDED BY SCHOOL. GET A HEAD START ON THE UP COMING SEASON BY PLAYING WITH PLAYERS FROM YOUR SCHOOL. PLEASE CONTACT US WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
As we are in the off season, let's remember...........
These are only kids and we are here to have fun. Sometimes as adults we have thoughts of re-living our childhoods through our children. Sometimes we let our competitiveness seap through our pours. Hey this is football and we all wanna win but what's more important is that we support the kids and are good examples for them to learn from. Win or lose. Coaches are all volunteers, treat them with respect. If you can do better come down next year, we can always use more help. The officials don't have eyes in the back of their heads or instant replay, they will miss a few calls, not the end of the world. Half the teams are going to lose games Sunday but no one really loses, do they? Let's have fun and support the kids, coaches and the program. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
A special thanks to Coach Harvey and the Sachem East Football team for inviting us to play at half time of the Sachem East vs. William Floyd game.The Pee Wees put on a great show and the crowd really showed them they loved it! Also a special thanks to all the Sachem East players that took the time to greet the kids at the beginning of the half.There are more photos in the photo section.
SYAG Football Fun Day 2009 was a huge success, all the kids had a great time competing in our Pass, Punt Competition and our tug of war. Everyone enjoyed the huge bouncer from Inflatable’s by Marty. Our great day was ended by our annual Pie eating contest which the kids and adults really enjoyed. Thanks again to all who sponsored our event and to all of those who helped out all day! The SYAG 2009 Night At The Races was a huge success!! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the night out. Our new location at Windows On The Lake was great.A special thanks to all that attended making our fundraising event a one to remember! See our photo section for more pictures.
GOT TURF? We do. SYAG Football is now proud to offer our children multiple games at the state of the art facility, Centereach multi purpose field. Saturday night games will be played several weeks of the season. Check the schedules and directions links for more info.
