Explorer Post 1099

Welcome to the homepage of the Travis County Sheriff's Office Explorer program, Post 1099. The purpose of the Explorer Post is to introduce youths and young adults to the Law Enforcement career field. Explorers are trained by Officers and Deputies in the same field that they work in, everything from Crime Scenes to Patrol and Corrections. With enough time and training, Explorers can be cleared to ride out with actual Deputies on their daily patrol assignments.
Interested in joining? You need to be between the ages of 14-20, be available on Wednesday nights, and have an interest in Law Enforcement. Call the Community Sevices Division of the Travis County Sheriff's Office 854-3248
