This Week's Practices - Important Facility Changes:

    Monday, 9/21 - 6pm to 8pm
**Varsity Competition Team will pracitce in the MS gym. There is a volleyball game going on tonight so please wait until it's finished.
**JV Competition Team will practice in the mini-gym as scheduled.

    Tuesday, 9/22 - 6pm to 8pm
**Both teams will share the MS gym. Please bring some warmer clothes in case outdoor space is used if the weather cooperates.

    Wednesday, 9/23 - 5:30pm to 7:30pm
**Both teams will share the HS mini-gym. Again, please bring some warmer clothes if outdoor space is used.

The 7th/8th Parent Open House is scheduled for the 23rd. Since this is not for the students, we don't anticipate any issues with girls missing practice. Debbie will not be at practice - Brittany and Chelsea will handle it.

As always, do not leave your child until the coach arrives. They will only be allowed to go to the restroom during scheduled breaks when an adult can take them - they will not be allowed in the locker room alond.

Thank you for your patience as the schedule changes!

Game Season Starts 9-12! Director's Notes....
Competition season is coming up soon. Parents/girls, please be prepared Thursday 9/10 to let us know whether or not you/r daughter will be competing. Competition is where the girls showcase their skills. It is our sincere hope that every girl will stay on the team to compete. As fun and important as football cheer is, competition is what cheer is really about. Please join us!

As you can imagine, our coaches are getting anxious about being our best for the games this weekend. Most of them are trying to schedule a practice for Thursday night to make up for the missing practice on 9-7. Please do your best to accommodate this addition if you can. The coaches are doing their best for your girls. They will email you individually regarding this.

As always, if you have a concern, compliment or complaint, please see Michelle Murphy. Our coaches are donating their time to work with their teams and many of them have no children on the team. They were not informed of uniform night until Tuesday evening (9-10) so please bring questions to the Director about this issue if you have them.

Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation!

    2009 Cheerleader Handbook
The 2009 Cheerleading Handbook is available online. Select "handouts" from the main menu to download. The handbook will provide you with information regarding practice schedules, cheerleader and parent conduct, what to wear to practice and much more. Please use it as a guideline throughout the season. If you have additional questions please contact Michelle Murphy, Cheer Director, at smcjmurph@comcast.net.

**IMPORTANT** If you have an older version of the handbook you are referring to, please note that summer cheer camps are NOT mandatory but are highly recommended for the reasons stated in the "Cheer Camp" section of the web site. Older version does not state that correctly.
