Frozen Ropes and Tri Boro pick Evaluation dates

As has been stated earlier, Frozen Ropes of PineBrook will be conducting Tri Boro's evaluations for both Baseball and Softball in 2010.  The dates of the evaluations will be 2/20/10 for Softball, 2/21 for Minor's Baseball and 2/28 for Major's Baseball.  You can check on dates and times for these important Tri Boro calendar events by visiting our events calendar at: http://www.leaguelineup.com/calendar_list.asp?cmenuid=3&url=triboro&sid=990427950 the evaluations will take place at Frozen Ropes in PineBrook, located at 30 Hook Mountain Rd.

 Opening Day For 2010 Set

At this past general meeting for Tri Boro April 10th was picked as the date of the 2010 Opening Day ceremonies that traditionally take place at Anderson Field every year.  April 11th was selected and will be the rain-out date.  It was also decided by the executive board that in the event of a washout weekend, the season's games would start and the ceremonies would be held on April 17th.

First Annual Online Ad Drive Kicks Off!!

The online ad drive is an opportunity to sell ad space on the Tri Boro Website, receiving a reward of 10% of the proceeds of your ad sales in the form of either a Home Field Advantage Sports gift card, a Frozen Ropes gift card or a rebate on your registration fees.

The Tri Boro Web site, www.leaguelineup.com/triboro recieved 110,000 page visits in 08-09, garnering over 300,000 page views on top of that.  The site averages 5,000 visits per month all the way up to 15,000 page views per month at the height of the spring season, making it an especially great value for the business who wants to advertise to the Tri Boro area audience for a great value.  So great in fact that ads range from $50.00 for a small box ad to $200.00 for a spot on the home page.  And those prices are for an ENTIRE year.  No other site compares.

The best part about the program is the simplicity.  Print out the two forms you need by following this link:  http://www.leaguelineup.com/handouts.asp?cmenuid=17&url=triboro&sid=21434176  The first form shows the performance numbers of the site.  You can either let the business read this or you could learn how to present it.  The second is the order form.  Fill this out with the business in full, attach the check and mail to the address provided.  It is THAT simple.

Questions about the program should be forwarded via email to:  passaic04@aol.com

Frozen Ropes Of PineBrook comes to Tri Boro Little League!!

The Fall is over and as the long winter ahead starts to seep into our thoughts, most little league organizations have an eye on tarping the field before turning their attention to the looming basketball, wrestling and skiing seasons.

In our organization baseball is a year-round-sport and while the other leagues around our area have boarded up the doors ahead of the snow, Tri Boro has put the finishing touches on an agreement with Frozen Ropes Of PineBrook that will bring professional baseball and softball instruction to all of the boys and girls that play in our league for this upcoming season.

The highlight of the Frozen Ropes program is the reorganization of the T-Ball and Instructional leagues to allow for a larger amount of instruction for our players and coaches followed by competitive games.  Some of the other features coming from Frozen Ropes to Tri Boro this coming Spring are player clinics, Healthy Arm Clinics and League batting nights at the PineBrook training center.

In the past, Tri Boro has held their Minors and Majors Baseball and Softball evaluations in a gym under the watchful eye of our volunteer coaches.  Starting this year, those same evaluations will be held at the Frozen Ropes Training center in Pinebrook, conducted by professional baseball and softball instructors who will provide a thorough, objective evaluation of each player.  This will lead to a more fair method of spreading the kids throughout the teams and allowing for a more level playing field from team to team.

Frozen Ropes has also announced that it will provide a $20.00 Gift Card to all players that register for Tri Boro Little League prior to January 15th, 2010.  These gift cards are free of charge and reloadable.  They are also good for any service that Frozen Ropes provides from use of the batting tunnels to instruction lessons to birthday parties which the center holds upon request.

The agreement between Tri Boro and Frozen Ropes serves as a reminder of the level of commitment that our league has to improving the play of our players in every level of the program.  By bringing this fine baseball institution into our program to professionally instruct the players is completely above and beyond what other traditional little league programs offer to their players, which makes Tri Boro an easy decision when compared to the others.

To see a listing of all of the services that Frozen Ropes will be providing to Tri Boro for this upcoming season, please click on the Frozen Ropes link 4 down on the left hand tool bar.  Our first “in-Person” signups of the upcoming season will be held at Anderson Field on Friday December 4th from 7 to 9pm and on Saturday December 5th from 10am to 1pm.

Please sign up your player as early as possible!  See you all in the Spring.
