Offseason Drainage Project
As the Winter looms, some of you may have noticed as you pass Anderson Field that there is work being done and the field is being dug up. The repairs you see are being done to the infield drainage system which has plagued play at the field in the recent past. Prior to this year, we had similar problems with the grounds in Left Field as water pooled after every rain. We corrected that problem prior to last season as some may have noticed we had no problems in that section of the field. We continue to strive to make the field a top notch facility for the enjoyment of all the boys and girls that play on our fields and we are confident that this latest "infrastructure" improvement will yield the desired result of a dry field in the future.
