10U Travel Team Players Wanted
UMAC is searching for a few 10U players that want to elevate their game. We are a very competitive team that plans to play in UMAC during the year and play in tournaments in a three state area. We will also play in the Cal Ripken Maryland State tournament at the end of the year and everyone on the team will have a chance to tryout for that team. We are a very well coached team that has had a tremendous amount of success and will improve your player’s game. Our winter workouts begin in January. Please contact our head coach Dave Fisher at davefisher@vzw.blackberry.net or Assistant Coach J. Myers at jharvey95@starpower.net to schedule a tryout. Any player interested in playing on UMAC's 2010 11U Sunday Select Team should notify Coach Bob Weishaar (rweishaa@mwn.com or 301.528.7823) no later than December 15. The Sunday Select Team will compete in the MD Cal Ripken Sunday Select League from early April through early June and will also compete in several weekend tournaments in mid-June. The Sunday Select Team will play on a 50/70 field and under Cal Ripken 50/70 rules. Jake Zimmerman, who helped coach an MCBA team the past 2 seasons, will be returning as a coach at UMAC and will be helping to coach the team. Winter work-outs will begin in mid-January and will be used to evaluate and select players.

I came across your website on the internet. I played UMAC baseball in 1981 with the Darnstown Yankees and in 1982-83 with The Germantown Eagles. I moved to Phoenix mid summer of 83. I remember the great times I had with UMAC. I am now a Minor League Pitching Coach with the Oakland A's. I just wanted to say thank you UMAC.
Thank you,
Scott "Emo" Emerson
