The athletic directors of the four IUSD High Schools have put together an informational seminar for prospective college athletes that will take place on Thursday, February 4th at Irvine High School. The seminar will be at 7:00 pm in the theater. The evening is intended to provide parents and athletes with information regarding NCAA and NAIA admissions requirements as well as how the recruiting process works.
It looks like we will have guest speakers from:
San Diego State University (NCAA)
Concordia University, Irvine (NAIA)
Irvine Valley College (Junior College)
We are hoping to make this an annual event in an effort to assist all the students in IUSD gain a better understanding of the opportunities available to them to participate in Intercollegiate Athletics.
