Board Meeting
We will be having our regular meeting on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at 7:00.
The meeting will be held at the American Legion Hall.
All interested members or parents are encouraged to attend.
2010 WBA Board Elected
The WBA has recently carried out their Annual Meeting and voting for the 2009-2010 Board of Directors on September 13, 2009. The votes have been tallied and based on the votes cast by the membership, the new Board of Directors are listed by position on the WBA Board page found in the main menu to the left.
The WBA is run annually by 100% volunteer efforts. Any other individuals who wish to help, please contact any board member. The association requires far more than the above 9 people to make things work, so your involvment is highly encouraged!
2009 Fall Ball Announcement
The Weirton Baseball Association announces registration for the 2009 Fall Ball season. Instructional sessions will take place during the week, with weekend game play against other local community teams. Registration is based upon the league in which the child will be playing during the 2010 season. For more information and to register, please contact Nathan Mazur, (304) 723-1543 (7-8 year old Pinto league); Rod Rosnick, (304) 723-1268 (9-10 year old Mustang league); or David Cowden, (304) 723-3983 (11-12 year old Bronco league). Registration fee is $25.00 and will be open until July 20, 2009.
2009 Fall SoftBall Announcement
The WBA will be hosting a Fall SoftBall Clinic for girls ages 8 to 10.
This will focus on the fundamentals of pitching, hitting and fielding.
Girls coming into the 11 under league for Spring of 2010 are able to participate.
