Team Philadelphia Baseball Club Winter Workouts
The Team Philadelphia Baseball Club and Community Organization will be holding winter baseball workouts for players ages 6+ on Saturday evenings at the Aquatic Fitness Club (AFC), 601 Righters Ferry Road, Bala Cynwyd PA, 19004. Ages 12+ will meet from 6:30-7:30 and ages 6-11 will meet from 7:30-8:30. The Team Philadelphia Baseball Club provides children the opportunity to learn the sport of baseball while also being educated in current issues facing the youth.
For private instruction, the Aquatic Fitness Club is a top quality organization with outstanding instructors and equipment. They are able to cover every aspect of the game. The attached flyer explains the facility and a few of the trainers. Please note that Frank Gailey is a former player in the 21st Ward Junior League and professional player. One of the best pieces to this is that it is located just over the Green Lane Bridge, up Belmont Avenue, one light past Mama's Steak and turn left. Only around 6 Minutes from the Pearlman Complex at Port Royal.
This is a great opportunity for our local youth as we finally have something nearby instead of traveling to Malvern, Cherry Hill, etc. They are able to provide individual or team instruction. Please pass this on to anyone you feel may be interested since as we all know now is the time to get ready for the season. When you contact the facility please mention that you are with the 21st Ward. You can check out the AFC Website at http://www.afcfitness.com/balacynwyd/
For more information, contact Ernie Barile (ebarile@aol.com) or Dan O’Connor (doconnor@temple.edu).

ABOUT THE 21st WARD JUNIOR LEAGUE
The 21st Ward Junior League is a non-profit organization that serves the children of Northwest Philadelphia (the 21st Ward).
We have no paid employees, and can provide sports activities to resident children only through volunteer efforts and participation. Fees are designed to cover the cost of the baseball and softball programs that we offer. The parents or guardians of each child participating in the League's programs are asked to provide 2 hours of time per season in field maintenance and trash pickup to enable us to keep costs low and to maintain our quality facilities that are enjoyed by all.
