WORK PARTIES

Work parties begin this Sunday at 9AM!!!
All Managers & Coaches are reminded that each has to work 2 - two hour work parties BEFORE the season begins and Organizational work parties during the season.
See your President or Athletic Director for details.
The fields are in bad shape and with the snow, we are behind schedule - so PLEASE bring up your coaches, parents and players.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to help get the fields ready.
It takes a lot of teamwork to get the fields ready for Opening Day.
Please help us out!!
Work parties will continue afternoons and weekend mornings from now until the season starts.

President's Meeting

-the pre-breakdown Presidents Meeting will be held this Friday.
This meeting is for Organizational Presidents and Elected Board only.

Breakdowns will be held this Sunday at the Complex!
The Breakdown meeting is to be attended by the Organizational Presidents, each Organization's Athletic Director and the Advisory Board.

21st Ward Junior Baseball & Softball League Registration

ALL ON-LINE REGISTRATIONS MUST BE PAID ON-LINE WITH A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD and are subject to a $5.00 processing fee and a $10 late fee.
In-Person Registration
At this time, there are no more In-Person Registration dates scheduled.
Fees:
1 player - $110
2 players - $200
3 players - $270
4 or more - $320
All registered players must provide proof of age and residency when requested.
Baseball players must be 7 years old by 5/1/10 and no older than 14 on 5/1 with the exception of
6 year olds who turn 7 in the 2010 calendar year who have the option to play I Ball in lieu of coach pitch.
Softball players must be 7 years old on 5/1/10 and no older than 18 on 5/1.
Players are assigned to teams at the discretion of the 21st Ward Jr. League.
Practices will begin in mid-March; Opening Day is April 17th!!!

ABOUT THE 21st WARD JUNIOR LEAGUE
The 21st Ward Junior League is a non-profit organization that serves the children of Northwest Philadelphia (the 21st Ward).
We have no paid employees, and can provide sports activities to resident children only through volunteer efforts and participation. Fees are designed to cover the cost of the baseball and softball programs that we offer. The parents or guardians of each child participating in the League's programs are asked to provide 2 hours of time per season in field maintenance and trash pickup to enable us to keep costs low and to maintain our quality facilities that are enjoyed by all.
