News

Greetings! This is our old website. The all new oasoccer.org will launch the week of February 25, 2018. Just so you know, the information on this site is out of date. In the meantime, follow us on facebook.

Old Allegheny Soccer was founded more than 25 years ago to provide a positive learning experience so that kids can have fun and learn to play soccer. We offer instructional, in-house recreational, and travel team soccer programs for children ages 5 - 19. Our players come from the Northside and North Hills neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, although anyone can play, regardless of where they live. Many of our players have gone on to play for their High School and College teams.

2017 Annual Members Meeting & Election

October 26, 2017

In order to maximize the number of people that can vote, we have decided to hold the annual members meeting of Old Allegheny Soccer, Inc. (OAS) will be held at at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday November 4, 2017 at the Activities Building in Riverview Park.

If you submitted a registrations  for your child/children to play in the Fall 2017 Instructional, In-House, and/or City League – you are a member of OAS and can vote in the election.

Three board member terms expire this year:  Mark Masterson , Chris Cruz and Dave Wilson.  Chris and Dave have said that they would like to run for another term.  We also have another vacant position that can be filled at the meeting.  With Mark stepping down from the board, that means there are two vacant seats to be filled.

According to our bylaws, we were supposed to send a notification of the annual meeting.  We are asking the membership to waive this procedure.

If you would like to be elected to the board, you can email the Secretary (staceyroa@gmail.com) or you can be nominated from the floor at,the meeting.

If you did NOT have a child in the program, but are a volunteer (coach, etc.), then you need to complete this membership form and send it in (or bring it to the meeting).  We will be waiving the $5 membership fee.
