We are a Travel Team made up of ballplayers from the Long Island, NY area. In 2010 the Eagles will play in the Boys of Summer/Perfect Game 18U League and various tournaments including Perfect Game and Blue Chip Prospect Tournaments on LI and Sports at the Beach in Delaware.
EAGLES SUFFER THEIR FIRST LOSING SEASON IN 2009. Eagles did win the HBQVB Pre-Season tournament going 4-0. Eagles traveled to Georgia for the Perfect Game Tournament and Flemington, New Jersey for the East Coast Championships, which were played at the new Jack Cust Baseball facility - the Diamond Nation Complex. Eagles also participated in the July 4th Bash and the Blue Chip Prospects Classic on LI as well as the Bear Invitional at NYIT. Tournament record 12-14. Regular Season and Playoff record 8-13. Final record 20-27 (45 games played). Record since first season in Fall of 2005: 193-111-3 (307 games played).
EAGLES FINISH 2008 SEASON WITH OVERALL RECORD OF 44-18-3. Eagles traveled to Georgia, New Jersey and Delaware for tournaments. Eagles finished in third place in the FABL/BOS League. Eagles won Frozen Ropes and Columbus Day tournaments, finished as runner up in Staten Island Slugfest tournament and made quarter-finals of Blue Chip Prospects, Sal Agostenilli and Beachblast tournaments. Regular season and playoff record: 12-6-1, Tournament record: 32-12-2 (summer tournament record of 15-10-1 and fall tournament record of 17-2), Final record: 44-18-3 (65 games played). Record since first season in fall of 2005: 173-84-3 (260 games played).
EAGLES ENJOYED CONTINUED SUCCESS IN 2007 finishing first in the NJBL Spring League (9-3)and winning the Championship in the Boys Of Summer League (21-8). Fall League saw the Eagles grounded (run out of gas) and finish 3-7. Additionally, the Eagles traveled to Delaware, Pa, Ct., and Florida (Disney World)for tournaments. The Eagles made the Championship Game in 6 out of 8 Tournaments entered. Regular Season(s) and Playoff record: 33-18, Tournament Record: 25-14, Final Record: 58-32 (90 games played). Two and a half year Record: 129-66 includes Spring, Summer, Fall and Tournaments (195 games played).
THE EAGLES HAD A FINE 2006 SEASON finishing in first place in both the spring and summer. The Eagles went 12-3 and finished in First Place in the Spring Baseball Heaven League. In the FABL Summer League, which had many Quality teams, such as the Bayside Yankees, Midville Dodgers and L.I. Braves, the Eagles finished in first place with a record of 16-4. In the FABL Fall League 16 yo division the Eagles went 8-5. Additionally, the Eagles won the Memorial Day and Northeast Closer Tournaments and finished second in the Columbus Day Tournament. Regular Season(s) and Playoff Record: 39-15, Tournament Record: 19-14, Final Record: 58-29 (87 games played). One and a half year record: 71-34 (105 games played).
The Eagles finish their inaugural season (Fall) by going 10-3 in the FABL Fall League and winning the Northeast Closer Wood Bat Championship in North Brandford, Ct. Overall Record: 13-5 (18 games played).

The Long Island Eagles are a competitive travel baseball team seeking only the best players on Long Island. Our goal is to become one of the island's finest teams. We will accomplish this goal through hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and love for the game.
