12.2 Round-Robin Playoff Tiebreakers will be determined by:

 

  1. winning percentage

  2. head-to-head results

  3. total wins

  4. +/- run differential.

 

If still tied at run differential we go to following (not voted on by league but this is how SPO rules break round robin way ties and Executive has approved for playoffs this year)

 

If teams are still tied after plus minus we will go by SPO round robin tie breaker rules and they are as follows

 

  1. plus minus in games involving three teams only and if still tied (for instances when three teams are tied)

  2. then move to least runs against all games, if still tied,

  3. most runs for all games, if still tied

  4. coin toss


10th Annual Burlington Men’s Slo-Pitch – Huge Thank you

 

On behalf of the Burlington Men’s Slo-Pitch League we would like to thank all the teams, volunteers, donors and the Carpenter Hospice for allowing us to put on another successful slo-pitch tournament.

The results for each division are as posted.

Division D

1st Jokers. 2nd Backpage, 3rd The North, 4th Smokin Aces (D did not have consolation North was determined based on head to head vs Smokin Aces.

Division E

1st Lakers, 2nd Rats, 3rd Brewers, 4th Lewly

Huge thanks, to this group of volunteers for making our tournament happen, without their dedication, commitment and all out hustle we couldn’t have a tournament without them. Left to Right Mike Marshall, Bob Edmonson, Ed Leonard, Jeff Morton, Patti Morton.

 10th Annual Burlington Men’s Slo-pitch Tournament

League is holding its 10th annual charity tournament on the weekend of June 3 &4, 2017 at Sherwood Forest Park’s softball diamonds. All proceeds from the tournament will go to a local charity. 

The tournament includes a barbecue, concessions and beer tent on both days and a silent auction on Saturday afternoon. The tournament is considered a provincial qualifier and has men’s and co-ed divisions.

A number of teams in our league are looking for players, to fill out their rosters for the 2017 season. Players must be all male, and 30 years old and over (during the calendar year of the season).

Inquiries from full teams may be considered for 2017. The league currently has a complement of 26 teams for this season.
