Rod Noseworthy Memorial Fund + League Donations

Donations just in time for Christmas, First we have Todd Clements from team Dave Peets, who get to donate $500 from the "Rod Noseworthy Memorial Fund" for finishing 1st overall during the regular season. They chose to donate $500 to the local food banks. $250 in Mount Pearl and $250 in Paradise.

At this time we also decided to add another $500 to the Mount Pearl food banks on behalf of the league. League President Al Heath made that donation today as well.

Scholarship Winners

Well, it took a little longer than it should have, but sometimes life just gets in the way.  That said, I would like to announce the winners of our 4 Scholarships  for 2022

The fact that this year we had 11 fantastic applicants made the decisions difficult.  As much as we would like to be able to offer a scholarship to all our applicants, it is something we just can't do.  Over the years we have given out in the range or $40 - $50,000 to sons, daughters and grandkids of players in our league, to help them further their education, and as a league we hope to continue doing so.  We are very proud of our youth as reflected by these young indiviuals.

I would like to congratulate the following students on receiving Scholaships for 2022, and wish them all the best in their bright futures.

Shea Harte - Daughter of league member Steve Harte

Karen Greek - Daughter of league member Joel Greek

Nathan Marshall - Son of league member Brian Marshall

Cameron Pennell - Son of league member Colin Pennell
