2023 Sunday League Season Starts: April 2, 2023 (Sunday's & Wednesday's ONLY) excluding holiday weekends 

Spring Season: 30+ reg season games (25 game guaranteed) plus All Star Game and Playoffs

Game times: 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm for 9 inning games (2.5hr game time limit 9 inn); 11am/1:30pm, 4:00/6:30pm, 8:45pm 7 inning games (2 hour time limit)

Format: 7 inning Double Headers or 9 inning single game; 9 inning run rule: 10 after 7 inn; 7 Inning DHer run rule: 10 runs after 5 inn

Fields: IAC in Independence, Macken Park (North KC), Creekside Baseball Complex in Parkville, or Capital Federal Baseball Complex in Liberty

Team Fee: KCABA Team fee: $4,250

Umpire Fee: 7 inn: $55 per game; 9 inn: $70 per game

Sunday League Individual Cost: $450 per player payable to KCABA

Expect to pay $500+ for the entire season; Breakdown: $450 KCABA player fee plus team uniform and hat estimate: $25-50 payable to team manager.

Friday June 28, 2019 at Kansas City T-Bones Stadium

Each division will bring 20 position players and 7 pitchers to the game.  The HR Derby will take place at 5pm.  Any KCABA registered player is eligible to participate in the HR Derby ($10 entry fee).  The 9 inning All Star Game will take place at 7:15pm; the winning division will be "HOME" team in the Championship series.

FIELD RULES & CODES OF CONDUCT:

1. You must abide by all city park rules  and officials when inside the gates.  Any city park official has the right to suspend play or tell patrons to leave the park due to weather or park infractions

2. Pick up your trash after EVERY game inside and around dugout

3. No hitting baseballs into fence

4. No Smoking; Smoking is prohibited at ALL city parks

5. No pets are allowed at Legacy Park; pets on leashes ARE allowed at IAC and FB#9 fields

6. No foul language, fighting, or harassment of any kind

*If any of these rules are broken, you can be fined and/or suspended by the KCABA and/or removed from the park by city park officials.  If you do not comply with city park officials, they have the right to contact the local authorities to have you removed from the premises.

Welcome to the Kansas City Amateur Baseball Association:

KCABA men's wood bat baseball league is located in the KCMetro area.  We're proud to be the ONLY amateur wood bat baseball leagues in the city who play 9 inning wood bat baseball.

KCABA is affiliated with the National Adult Baseball Association NABA, who is one of the largest premier amateur baseball leagues in the world. The NABA is organized nationally into groups categorized by age. The largest division of play is the Open Division (18+). The NABA also features 25+, 35+, & Over divisions. There are now more than 50,000 members nationwide.  

The KCABA currently has 9 teams in the 18+ division in 2021.  Our goal is to make this league grow & migrate into different age divisions.  The league only gets bigger & better through word of mouth so please tell your friends & spread the word.
