Recreational Fastpitch Softball League
Orwigsburg Area Girls Softball organization offers softball instruction/recreational games to girls aged 5-16 in the Schuylkill County softball league. Fields that are utilized are West Brunswick fields (for practices and games) and the Blue Mountain Middle School field (practices only).
Softball begins in early March and games go until the end of June to early July for girls who are between the ages of 9-16. These teams will travel to other fields in the Schuylkill County League.
Our developmental program for girls aged 5-8 years of age plays in the Orwigsburg area from late April to mid June. This year, we will offer a few games with local 8&U aged groups outside the Orwigsburg area.
Field Locations
The West Brunswick Field Complex located on Pheasant Run Road in Orwigsburg (behind Russo's Pizza Den) is where all home games are played. In addition to these 2 fields, the softball field behind the Blue Mt Middle School is also utilized for practices.
