Tonight BHTMBA had its annual open Executive meeting to fill volunteer positions for the upcoming 2024 season. Updates on rep team coaching applications for the 2024 season and registration info will be coming out over the next month.

Bible Hill/Truro Minor Baseball Association is hosting a Zoom meeting at 8pm this Wednesday, February 7th. We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining our Executive Board.

⚠️ ATTENTION MEMBERS ⚠️

BHTMBA will be holding its Annual General Meeting January 31st, 7pm at Douglas Street Recreation Centre. Everyone is welcome and it will be an opportunity to identify new executive members for the 2024 season.

BHTMBA is also looking for coaches for our competitive travel teams at the 11U, 13U, 15U ,18U Divisions and a potential competitive  female  team. These teams will play in the Baseball NS Bluenose League. The level of play the team plays at, A, AA or AAA would be determined by coaching staff. Coaches will need to have the appropriate level of coaching certifications in order to be able to coach, as per Baseball Nova Scotia's rules. If you are interested in coaching a competitive team please contact Joe Young at ljy839@hotmail.com. The deadline for expressions of interest is January 29th. 

The BHTMBA Executive would like to thank its players and volunteers for contributing to the success of the 2023 season.

We are currently in the early planning stages for the 2024 season and we will be transitioning to an online registration program.  More information about the new registration process will be provided in the new year. We are also considering the possibly of hosting a female competitive team during the 2024 season.

At this time, we would like to identify potential coaches for our competitive teams for the 2024 season. If you are interested in coaching a competitive team, please forward your name, Division and level to Joe Young via email at  ljy839@hotmail.com

Please note that there have been changes made to the 13U House League and 11U Rep Team schedules due to the Millbrook field being unusable at this time. Once the field is repaired, we will resume regular schedules.

BHTMBA Weather Related Cancelations

Throughout the summer the BHTMBA will be forced to cancel activities due to rain, poor field conditions or extreme heat warnings. The decision is in consultation with the recreation departments in both Bible Hill, and Truro, and current weather forecasts and conditions that day.

A final call will be made around or before 4pm on days through the week. It will be posted both on here as well as our facebook page.

It it rains after the 4pm deadline any cancelations will happen at the field decided by coaches/umpires at 6pm.

We welcome you to the BHTMBA (Bible Hill Truro Minor Baseball Association) Website. Our Association has over 400 members (players, coaches, umpires and volunteers) boys and girls, ranging from Tball (4-6 yrs olds) right through to Midget (16-18 yr olds) with both rep and rec teams in many divisions. We will be adding information all year so please feel free to browse through and if you have any questions contact the division rep or member listed in the menu on the left.
 We have players from the areas of Bible Hill, Truro, Valley, Salmon River, North River, Debert, Brookfield, Millbrook, Old Barns and Onslow just to name a few. Our teams play out of fields in Truro, Bible Hill, Millbrook, and Valley.
