"Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put its failures behind and start over again. That's the way life is, with a new game every day, and that's the way baseball is."

-Bob Feller

The North Texas Bulldogs Baseball Club  and the  East Texas Red Sox have been sister clubs within the same organization since their inception, and Tim Mendolia and Keith Mayo have coached teams under both names.

When our kids learn the game of baseball whether they know it or not, they are learning about life. They learn persistence, determination, sacrifice, how to be part of a team, and most importantly, how to deal with adversity as baseball is a game of failure not a game of success-where succeeding only 3 out of ten times is considered good. They form friendships that extend long past the end of the season, and meet mentors who coach them to win and lose with dignity. But most of all, they learn to love the game of baseball.

The North Texas Bulldogs Baseball Club, originally organized in the fall of 2003, is a non-profit organization of volunteers, who share not only a passion for the game, but also a commitment to the growth and development as baseball players and young men.  The North Texas Bulldogs Baseball Club teaches players about life through the mechanism of the great game of baseball.

Over the past 15 years, the Bulldog organization has fielded very competitive and successful teams that have won a combined 150+ tournament championships, including State, Regional, Super Regional and National Championships (11); has had a .650+ overall winning percentage; and has placed numerous players into college and, even professional, baseball programs through Bulldogs and Red Sox, affiliated showcase teams.  You can see the listing of all former Bulldogs/Red Sox who have continued baseball into the college and pro ranks on the Former Players link of the Main Menu to the right of this page.

To continue that tradition of assisting players to the next level, the Bulldog organization is proud to announce a partnership with the East Texas Red Sox, and its Coach, Keith Mayo, to form the North Texas Bulldogs 18U team.   This team will consist of players from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and East Texas who desire to compete at a national level and, ultimately, to play baseball at the collegiate level.   For the 2019 18U season, the Bulldogs are excited to announce that German Duran, gdm@northtexasbulldogs.com, former MLB player, will be joining the coaching staff.
