2023 LONESTAR JUNIOR FOOTBALL

Welcome to the 2023 Season 

The Semi-Final games are history. The playoff brackets are filled out and show the scores and the teams scheduled to play each other during the Championships and Consolation rounds on October 28th, Super Bowl Saturday in Buna. 

 New Rules for the 2023 Season

Regrettably we have had to ban backpacks for the fans this season inside our stadiums. Clear backpacks such as the schools require and those that are allowed in college and professional venues are allowed but no others. It has become an issue with people smuggling in food and drinks to our fields even with signs up stating that they aren't allowed. The organizations in Lonestar that provide the services to the players and cheerleaders are almost entirely financed by their sales through the concession stands. People bringing in outside food and drinks are not supporting the organizations and volunteers that provide this service to the children involved. We are now banning the main tool to do that. Please understand the rules and why they exist and please don't give the volunteer grief at the gate when they inform you that "you can't have that in here" whether that is your morning coffee, a bag of Sonic food or your favorite Yeti cup. We have found outside containers that had substances in them that are not proper at a youth football game and that is why any outside container is not allowed in the venue. It's a shame that we live in a world where some folks don't believe that the rules apply to them or don't feel the need to support these volunteer, non-profit organizations. Those are the people that led to the "No Containers" and "No Backpacks" rules.
