LUYAA Softball Finishes the Season!

Championship Results ... - The 10U and 12U Championship games were played Friday night at Windsor Knolls and the league titles were decided. The 10U Scorpions finished in first place by topping the Breeze 5-1. In 12U, the Fireballs took the top spot by squeaking by the Blue Crush 13-12. Both these teams also finished first in their age groups during the regular season. Congratulations!
Coaches' Softball Game Saturday June 13th - You know all those coaches that have bothered you all season? The ones that can't let that strikeout or missed play go? Well, here's your chance to return the favor!! The coaches will try to play a softball game this Saturday at Noon at WKMS. Come cheer them on (or perhaps playfully ridicule their feeble attempts)! Hope to see you there!
End of a Successful (though rainy) Spring 2009 Season - Congratulations to all the teams and a BIG thank you to all the players, coaches, and families. Thanks for sharing your time with LUYAA Softball this spring and we look forward to seeing you back for more softball fun!
Fall Ball Coming Soon! - Spring season was just finished, but we can already start planning for Fall Ball. LUYAA's Fall Ball program runs from back to school to end of October. Games are played in a fun format on Sunday afternoons at various locations throughout the county. The goal is instructional with opportunities for the girls to play lots of positions and keep growing their softball skills. LUYAA hopes to field teams at 8U, 10U, 12U and 15U with our partners in the Frederick County Girls Softball League (FCGSL).
