A Second Starting 18u Pitcher needed for 2010
Parma Wildcats 18u team is looking for a very good pitcher for the 2010 season,to share pitching duties with our other #1 pitcher. We always have our two number #1 pitchers share equal time during the season. Our pitchers do a pitching rotation of 1 game on and 1 game off rotation, and relief each other when the starter gets in trouble. We will be playing in 7 tournaments plus nationals and a 16 game regular season schedule. Thats a bare minimum of 48 games we will play, more then likely we will play 60+ games. Our fee to play is only $385.00
If you are wanting to play for us and would love to be given a private tryout, then please contact us.
Head Coach, John Seaman, E-mail - parmawildcats@cox.net / Cell# 440-212-4246.
Please check your e-mails daily. Also starting in May, make sure you check our league web site daily as well; www.emeraldfastpitch.com

All About the Parma Wildcats
The Parma Wildcats Fastpitch Softball Organization was started in 2003. We are located in Parma Ohio, and we are a 501(C)(3)non-profit organization. We started our organization to allow girls 18 years and younger to play competive travel fast pitch softball. We had teams in these age groups for the 2009 season; 18u,2 teams in 16u,and 2 teams in 12u. We have had girls as young as 7y.o. play with us on our younger 10u teams.
We have girls from Parma, Parma Hts, Amherst, Auburn Towmship, Brook Park, Broadview Hts, Brooklyn Hts, Cleveland, Chagrin Falls, Elyria, Fairview Park, Grafton, Garfield Hts., Independence, Macedonia, North Royalton, Sagamore Hills, Streetsboro, Seven Hills, Solon, Stow, Twinsburg, Warren, Westpark.
We play league games in the Emerald Necklace league in northern Ohio. League play is around a 16 game regular season schedule. We will also play in 4 to 9 tournaments every year per team, The more experienced teams play in the most tournaments.
Our 16u teams and 18u teams will play in as many college showcase tournaments as we can get into.
Our regular season games are played in communities like North Royalton, Berea, Strongsville, Independence, Brunswick, Broadview Hts, Hinckley, Avon, Avon Lake, Rocky River, Lakewood and other nearby communities.
We will have teams in all age groups for the 2010 season. We will have as many teams as possible in each age group, to better match the teams skill level with the players skill level.
Under A.S.A. rules, age cutoff is January 1st, 2010, meaning player’s age on January 1st, 2010 is her age for the 2010 season. We are also classified as "B" team, because we play in a league. We play in the "B" Nationals not the "A" Nationals.
All players and coaches are fully insured, . Coaches are required to get background checks. We are a non profit organization.
Registration begins in August with indoor practices starting in January.
Cost to play is only $385.00 per player, fee includes uniforms, tournament fees and our league play of 12 to 18 games in league play, no other cost to you. Of this fee $350.00 can be raised with fundraising, you only need to pay the $35.00 registration fee out of your pocket. Teams will play between 30 to 60 games. Almost all tournaments are close within driving distance, Our top teams in each age division will be going to the A.S.A "B" Nationals in 2010.
We will also be having registration signups for the month of August for the new players to travel fastpitch softball that did not make a team or did not tryout for any teams but want to play and learn fastpitch softball. These teams play in less tournaments but still get in about 30 to 40 games.
We offer reduced fees for returning players from the prior years teams, this years reduced fee is at least $200.00 off the players fee, thanks to our tournament and sponsors.
The players fee can be raised with fundraising to cover the entire fee.
