Spartans Improve to 4-0
The spartan hockey team improved their record to 4-0 with a 6-4 win over Schroeder. Pat Egan led the way with three goals and one assist. Brandon Morgan added one goal and three assist and Ryan Fitzgerald had a goal and two assist. John Wise scored his first goal of the season. The Spartan held a 5-2 lead with seven minutes left when Webster came roaring back to make it 5-4 with 2:10 left in the game. Egan finished off his hat trick with a short-handed empty net goal. Ryan Fitzgerlad earned the hard hat award.
Spartans Skate by Pittsford
The spartans improved their record to 3-0 with a 4-1 win over Pittsford. Pittsford struck early in this game when Aaron Witzel found the back of the net just :48 into the first, but goalie Matt Ryan held down the fort after that making some big saves. The spartans were led by Pat Egan who had two goals and one assist. Brandon Morgan and Brendon Christopher also scored for the spartans. Brendon Christopher earned the hard hat award.
Egan Leads Spartans
The spartans improve their record to 2-0 with a 7-0 win over Batavia. Pat Egan led the way with four goals and one assist. Brandon Morgan added two goals and two assist while Jake Sulli scored his first varsity goal and game winner with :05 left in the first period. Matt Ryan earned the shutout with 15 saves. Joe Drabin received the hard hat award.

Community Service a Success
The spartan hockey team kicked off the season by doing something good for the community. After a sportsmanship meeting and a scrimmage, the spartans capped off a busy Saturday by helping breakdown a craftshow at Monroe Community Hospital. Check out some photos in the photo album tab.
