        Welcome - About Us

Established in 1979 the North Meck Filly League (NMFL) is a volunteer driven, not-for-profitcooperative of 8 organizations who’s goal is to deliver quality youth softball programs where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun environment based on the following principles:

·Equal Playing Time - Our program's goal is for kids to PLAY softball, therefore, we mandate that every player will play at least 3 innings of a 5 inning game (depends on number of players) and every player must be in the batting lineup the entire game (continuous batting).

·Equally Skilled Teams - Each season we form new teams that are as evenly balanced as possible because it is more fun when teams of equal ability play.

·Registration - Our program is open to ALL young ladies between 5 and 17 years of age regardless of skill level. Interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria for playing.Limited financial-aid is available.

·Positive Coaching - Encouragement of player effort provides for greater enjoyment by the players and ultimately leads to better-skilled and better-motivated players.

·Good Sportsmanship - We strive to create a positive environment based on mutual respect rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude, and our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of NMFL.
