It's HERE! Dandridge Broncos Football and Cheer season is about to start! Come pick up your football equipment next week (for those that turned it in after Spring Practice) in preparation for our first day of practice on July 17!

Tmr, Monday November 21st from 6 to 7:30 is the last chance to turn in equipment before awards ceremony. We have several grasscutters and supers who havent. Pee wees turn their equipment in tmr as well. It must be turned in for your child to receive end of year gifts. Unless we are notified of a reason as to why. Thanks

Important InformationFootball Equipment Pick-up dates and times for each age group are as follows:Grasscutters: April 3rd - 6-8pm

Practice is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6-8.
IF you missed early sign-ups this is the time to complete all the paperwork and pay fees.

December 18th is the awards ceremony at the Field of Dreams Activity Center. All 3 age groups.
Time: 2:30
Hope everyone can make it. We will also vote on the board members at the ceremony. We have 3 member at larges to vote for. Each child receives 2 votes by their parents or guardians.
Also if you are interested in being a head coach for the grasscutters, super grasscutters, or pee wees you need to contact Matt Cohen before January 16th. You can message the Broncos page or contact Matt directly.

We have the awards ceremony on Sunday, December 18th at 2:30. It will be at the activity center. Parents will also elect the new board members. All forms were filled out and turned in.
Each child receives 2 votes. The parents will vote.
Because certain positions only had 1 person fill out form, they are elected. We do have 10 people wanting the 3 member at large positions. So you will vote for up to 3 of them at the ceremony. Here is what the new board will be and the 10 people running for the 3 spots

Monday, Nov 21st 6 to 730 Pee wees and any other group who hasn't turned in equipment can do so then. Equipment must be turned in before awards ceremony.
We have the Dandridge Christmas parade Saturday, December 17th. All the kids are welcome and encouraged to participate in that. Details to come on times.

Fundraiser!
We will be doing our annual fundraiser this year with Ham ‘N Goodys!
Order forms will be available at the concession stand. All orders are due by Sept. 29, 2022 and will be available for pick up on Oct 13, 2022.
We are also having a little "friendly" competition between football and cheer.
CHANGE WAR!!
There will be 2 bins to collect spare change. Football players will have one. Cheerleaders will have one. Whom ever collects the most change wins!. This will start Tuesday Sept 6th and run until Thursday the 15th. Winner to be announced at Homecoming on the 17th.
Best part is the losing head coaches get a pie in the face. So Heather Moore, Amy Stanley, and Candis Mullins will get a pie in the face.
So save all your spare change and donate it. This is gonna be fun!

Parents remember to go by concession and sign up for chains, concession workers(doesn't have to be your child's game), and trash pick up after games.
We are also waiting on a few jerseys to get here. It doesn't look like that will be this week. Get with your coach if you don't have a game jersey. We will figure it out. Let's get the season started. Thanks
Jamboree
We have times for Jamboree on sat Aug 20th. It is at Cocke County High School.
THIS IS MANDATORY!! If you didn't weigh-in early.
Be there at 11. Football players will wear their jerseys and gym shorts. They can't weigh in with just underwear on. Keep in mind anything they have on when they enter the room, they must weigh in with.
Cheerleaders wear uniform without the midriff.
We have several without physicals. Team moms are gonna ask tmr if anything is needed. This stuff HAS GOT TO BE DONE THIS WEEK.

Start of season
Its football time. This is the schedule for the week we come back and the game schedule for the year. These are the dates you need to know right now.
Thursday July 14th, 6 to 8. If your child turned in their equipment, then you can come pick it up on this day.
Monday July 18th 6 to 8 is the first day of practice for football and cheerleading. We will also be signing up kids then. The fee is $75 for football. Unfortunately we are no longer taking anyone for cheer.
We will have a parent meeting on the Thursday the 21st to answer any questions you may have and to go over the upcoming season.
Here is the info for practice the first 2 weeks.
Mon the 18th is helmets only, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece
Tues the 19th is helmets only, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece
Thurs the 21st is helmets only, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece
The following week we add Shoulder Pads to that
Then Monday August 1st we go full pads.

I will be at the field this Thursday the 28th at 530. If anyone needs a personalized jersey or fitted for one, you can come by. I will be there for about an hour. This is absolutely last chance for it. I will place the order Friday.
It is not mandatory to have one. We will issue your child one. The cost is $75 for a personalized jersey. It is the same jersey as last year so if you had one last year and it still fits you are good

Spring Practice
It's time. Spring practice kicks off this week. Monday April 4th at 6. Shorts, shirt, and cleats. Wear helmet if you have been fitted. If you have not, don't worry we will do that during practice.
If you havent signed up, you can do that this week as well. For football and cheer. Look forward to seeing everyone.

Early Sign Ups
Sign-ups for Dandridge Broncos Football and Cheerleading will be held on the following dates at the Field of Dreams, Activity Center. Thurs & Fri February 17th & 18th 6 to 8. Saturday February 19th 9 to 1.
Pee Wee - Football & Cheer ages 10 & 11 (Born between 8/2/10 - 8/1/12)*
Super Grasscutters- Football & Cheer ages 8 & 9 (Born between 8/2/12 - 8/1/14)*
Grasscutters- Football & Cheer ages 5, 6 & 7 (Born between 8/2/14 - 8/1/17)*
*Please feel free to attend any of the three sign-up times. It just makes it less stressful on everyone if we break it up some.

What to expect:
Please bring a STATE ISSUED copy of each child’s BIRTH CERTIFICATE if your child is new to the Broncos.
Football will be going full pads 2nd week of Spring Practice. Equipment will be issued prior to Spring Practice. Spring Practice dates April 4th to the 14th. Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri
Sign up fee for Football is $75 Cheer is $50 for returning $30 for new. It is due in full at sign up.
There is an optional ‘Volunteer Opt Out’ fee of $50.00 for those wishing to opt out of the expected volunteer duties (i.e. concessions, gate, field maintenance, etc.) for the season. Committing to just 4 volunteer efforts per family during the season eliminates the need to pay this fee entirely. If this option is chosen the fee is also due in full at sign-ups (Football & Cheer)
Football parents will the option to purchase a customized jersey with child's name imprinted on back at a cost of $75. If your child is new and wants a personalized jersey, you can order at sign ups.
If you are a new cheerleader, you will need to purchse a cheer pack. The complete cheer package is $300 and is yours to keep for the following years. If you are a returning cheerleader, all you will need to purchase will be the items that need to be replaced due to outgrowing or lost. Cheer pack money will be paid at a later date. Nof at sign ups

Chili supper
This Thursday October 21st is the chili supper. We will start serving at 6. It is open to anyone who wants to come by and support the Dandridge Broncos.
You will receive a bowl of chili or soup, drink, and dessert for $6. All you can eat for $10. We look forward to having everyone come out. Thank you

Thursday October 21st is the chili supper. We will practice as normal and let the kids out alittle early to eat. We will have sign up sheets at concession for chili, soup, and dessert. We will make a post and announcement about it first of the week. Its open to public. Anyone who wants to come and support the program. It's a great fundraiser.
Homecoming
It's officially Homecoming week. This is the info for Saturday.
Cheerleaders and escorts need to be at the field by 10.
Homecoming will start at 11.
There will be a Homecoming queen for all 3 age groups voted on by the players on Thursday during practice.
I (Kevin) want to meet with ALL cheerleaders around the start of practice at the scoreboard on Monday.
Thursday of this week all 3 age groups will perform their routines toward the end of practice for players and parents.

The gravel lot inside the gate and endzones will be available to sit up canopies. CANOPIES CANT NOT BE ON THE SIDEWALKS OR IN THE BLEACHERS FOR GAMES. CANNOT.
Referees are only ones who park inside the gate on gameday.
Concessions will have breakfast first thing then full menu.
Home games are special and this week is no exception. Need you guys loud.

IMPORTANT CHEER NEWS!!
This Friday May 7th is the fitting day that the Varsity rep is coming to fit the girls for uniforms, shoes, etc. Grasscutters time is at 5pm
Supers time is 6pm
Pee Wees time is at 7pm
This will be at the Field upstairs.
Please bring the $300 for the package. We will be putting our order in that night.
This is a mandatory fitting! Even if you do not need the whole package they still need shoes!
Please have the girls wear their bathing suit under their clothes. And also, only one parent/guardian allowed upstairs with girl. Please make sure to have a cell phone for the fitting pass. This is what the parents will need to do on their phone.
Last day of spring practice 2021
Carson Newman is coming to run practice on Thursday. They are great with the kids and they learn alot.
Each kid will turn their helmets in on Thursday and that will be the last daynof spring practice. No practice on Friday. Thank you guys for an awesome 2 weeks.

Jersey and sring practice info
The jerseys are here. They are reversible. We are having fittings next week. If you want a personalized jersey, come and get fitted. If you have had one in the past, you will be able to keep your number.
We will also do sign ups so if you havent done that. You will be able to fill out your paperwork then. Sign up fee is $75. Jerseys are $70.

Just a reminder about a few things going on this month.
We are going to have a jersey fitting as soon as they arrive. If you would like to purchase a personalized jersey for $70, keep an eye out for the dates for that.

We are going to schedule times for the kids to come out and get equipment before spring practice starts as well. As soon as the reconditioned helmets get back we will do that.
