The next meeting of the board of directors for the Missoula Softball Association is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8th, 6pm. The location
of the meeting is 3011 Palmer Street. (Palmer & Great Northern Way).
All players, coaches, umpires are cordially invited. The board is getting ready for 2010 season including working on our annual budget for next year (park dept.fees, field fees, lights, balls, umpires, insurance, marketing, etc.)
Discussion of leagues names and how many leagues for next year (C,D,E etc.)is on the agenda.
Promoting and growing women softball leagues.
Preparing for state tournaments coming to Missoula summer 2010.
Confirming important dates for 2010.
Scheduling local tournament dates for 2010
Working with Missoula Umpire Association
Preparing for the first captains meeting in March 2010 which will include election of officers for the league and welcoming new board members at the first players meeting next year.
Discussion of ASA rule changes and any local variances including homerun limits.
