New fence and scoreboard!

When the Rams step on to the diamond this upcoming spring, things are going to look a little different. A new LCD scoreboard donated by Paoli Inc.'s parent company HNI should be in place, as well as new a new fence. Hope to see you there on the other side of winter!!!
Rams season ends for Jr High

The Rams fell to Orleans 13-11 in an offensive contest. After going 4 games without giving up more than 5 runs, the Jr High 8th graders game up a season high 13 runs, in a game that started on Thursday, and ended on Saturday. The boys ended the season 9-9-2, but really came together as a team in the last few weeks. Next stop... high school baseball.
Rams beat Salem 18-3 in first round of tourney

The Rams moved on to the next round of the tourney as they defeated Salem 18-3. They will face Orleans at 5:30 at Mitchell High School tonight.
8th Grade to play Salem in Tourney
June 30, 2008
The opponent will be Salem, but the game will be played at Mitchell. Tournament begins with the Rams game at 5:00 pm, July 2nd. Come out and cheer on the Rams as they take on the Lions for the third time this season. The winner of this game will take on the winner of the Orleans / Mitchell contest which will be held right after our game.
Regular season for Jr High comes to an end....

Rain ended the eighth grade regular season Thursday night. Rain started to fall early in the first inning, and before it ended, Trinkle field was covered with puddles.
The Rams begin tournament play Wednesday at 5:00pm in Mitchell. They will face Salem for the third time this year.
The young Rams end the season at 8-8-2.
Two losses to Loogootee, then two wins at Orleans

After traveling to Loogootee Tuesday night, and getting beat twice by a solid baseball team, Paoli picked up two big wins at Orleans Wednesday night. The Rams finally came out of their hitting slump, and hit the ball real well in securing the victories. The big inning came in the first game as the Rams scored 16 in the fourth inning. Great job guys!
The Rams finish the season at home Thursday night in a double header vs. Mitchell before heading into the tourney next week.
Orleans game cancelled due to weather

Rain from out of nowhere put a halt to the 8th grade game(s) with Orleans. Paoli was leading 2-1 in the second when lightning was spotted. After about an hour, we called it a night.
In a related note, next weeks game at Orleans has been moved up to Wednesday at 5:00. Hope to see you there!
Rams go 1-1 with Wolfpack

The Rams played great baseball in the opening win against Crawford County, winning 6-2 behind good defense and a no lose attitude in the 5th inning. All that changed in the second game, as the Wolfpack walked only 1 person, and the Rams committed 8 errors in the 11-2 loss. Joe Goodman and Seth Evans were selected to the PLAC all-conference team. Congratulaions to both seniors for this honor... they deserved it!!!

Thanks to the Paoli Rams and to the seniors for a memorable season. You represented our school in the sectional with class and gave us an exciting championship game. Thanks to all the fans that drove the distance to support the team!
