SUPER BOWL WINNERS & MARYLAND STATE CHAMPIONS
Urbana had 5 teams go to the super Bowl and 3 teams advance to the state playoffs this season. 6-8A Mini Pony, 9-11A JV and 11-13A Varsity, 7-9A Jr. Pony and 7-9F Jr. Pony. We had 3 Teams WIN the SUPER BOWL.

All 3 advanced to the State Playoffs. out of the 3 teams 2 are STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congatulations to all the teams and to our SUPER BOWL and STATE CHAMPIONS well done. You have continued a level of tradition that Urbana Football has come to enjoy and expect.
SPRING INDOOR FOOTBALL
LUYAA FOOTBALL will now have Spring Indoor Football. This a NEW LUYAA sport.
Tired of playing lacrosse then sign up for Spring Football. Urbana will have teams for the following age groups. 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. For 14U you must be in Middle School. There will be no weight limits and only one practice a week. 15 players per age group and the game is 8 on 8 full tackle football. Games will be at the Frederick Sports plex and will be on either Saturday or Sunday. The season will run from the end of March until the beginning of June.
If we only have a few players for any age group then we will combine the Linganore and Urbana teams to form one LUYAA team.
This is a great way to keep in football shape and to continue developing your skill set for the Fall season.
As the information about the rules come in they will be posted so please check back for updated information. All the above may change slightly as this is a new sport and the rules and regulations are being worked out.
Registration will start December 14, 2009 so please register right away. Since only 15 players are on a team the first 15 players fill the team. If we have enough demand we will form other teams at those age groups, but only if there is enough to form a full team. Register right away.

Team Mom and Coaches Registration
Please go to LUYAA.org to register as a coach or team mom. Sorry, but we have had some issues getting the correct forms to pull up and registrations have been delayed.
Equipment Handout
Final handout will be July 25th from 9:00- 11:00AM. Please bring two checks one undated for the equipment deposit in the amount of $215.00. You get this back at the end of the year. The other check is for your raffle tickets. IF YOU HAVE A DATE ON YOUR CHECK I AM SORRY BUT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET YOUR EQUIPMENT.

CHEERLEADING AND POM PONS INFORMATION
Football would not be such a great sport without our Cheerleaders and Pom Pons. To try and make sure you are completely informed about these great programs we have added each group under the menus section on the left. Please check it often to keep up with all the exciting news and information you will need to know about for cheerleading and Pom Pons.
2009 MMYFCL Age & Weight Limitations
All weight limits this year are with equipment.
We will weigh-in in pads (NO HELMETS).
